  1. Texas' backrow is big upgrade from last season. They're able to make some incredible digs to extend points.
  2. Great close to the set by Texas!
  3. #1 Nebraska pulls off the reverse sweep against Kentucky
  4. That was a way more complicated set than it needed to be.
  5. My biggest concern is that with the loss, we can only afford 1 more regular season loss and still make the playoffs. None of the 9 win teams last year made the playoffs, so between the games @Florida, @Georgia, Red River, aggy, and Vandy/@MSST/@Kentucky/Arkansas we can afford to lose one of those. I would still expect us to accomplish that, but only if the offense can at least be somewhat competent. When we face a top 25 defense, we need to still be scoring once per quarter to get the job done, not once per game. In the post game presser, Arch said he hoped that this was his worst game of the year when they look back at the season in retrospect. Hopefully he's right.
  6. 2+ seasons of awful red zone offense. Today, we could have had 28 points with our 4 trips but we ended with 7. If we had a competent caller in the red zone, we might have won a title in the past 2 years.
  7. Not sure what Sul Ross St was thinking when moving up from DIII to DII. They're likely going 0-11 this season
  8. Looks like this will be the third year running we are ass in the redzone. So frustrating
  9. First road game start for Arch went about as poorly as it could have. At least they have 3 cupcakes coming to get right
  10. Golden and Helm for sure. We might have had a fumble already with Blue
  11. This was the worst case scenario I feared
  12. At least we didn’t run a sweep. Baby steps
  13. Are we saving Jaggy for the second half?
  14. We have an elite punter tho
  15. Welp, maybe as usual Texas needed to see the opponent score first before we get going on offense
  16. Everyone is playing nervy. Expected for this week 1 matchup
  17. Great comeback in that third set. Already showing they can fight back in a set that looks lost. They struggled with that belief last season
  18. We've lost our focus in the 3rd. Looks like a throw away set
  19. Was thinking the same thing. Krecjekova always plays well at the USO, and Navarro hasn't been on form the past few months. I would take Barb as well
  20. I was also looking forward to a kool-aid fueled "We're going to mudhole Ohio State" write up
  21. Tommy Paul won the first 2 sets, had match points in the third set, and has been playing with his food ever since
  22. Texas lost at home today to TCU, as expected and fall to 1-3-1 overall. 2 more matches until Texas begins SEC play. It's gonna suck
