WTF is going on here?

Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do
In my house, the vegetable drawer is just a staging station for the compost piles. I probably have the most expensive compost in the county.

See did get an implant but couldn't hear the beeping. And yes, that is exactly what she was doing. Me under the detector and she is under one of the hallway lights. Very helpful.

Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do
I start hearing a random beep......need to find the suspect detector bitching about a low battery. Wife is following me around as I try to locate the beeping. Constantly asking, "which one is it?" Kitchen smoke? Nope hallway smoke? Nope Upstairs smoke 1? Nope Upstairs smoke 2? Nope Now I'm standing under the carbon monoxide detector waiting for that motherfucker to beep. Her: Maybe it's one of the light bulbs!

Thanks for trying to get this back on topic @uoftorange. And strong effort by wife. VERY strong. For the rest of you motherfuckers. FOCUS. We don't need advise from Dr. Phil or Dr. Ruth....we just need to wallow in each others pain. Now, back on track me homies.

From the article Jo-El Sonnier was an American original, a country legend, a Cajun hero, and one of the last real deal performers in music. https://www.savingcountrymusic.com/country-cajun-legend-jo-el-sonnier-dies-after-performance/ Let's enjoy, shall we.

Thanks. I used to listen to Joe's podcast but lost it in a switch to a different platform.

When the doors are open, it cools the kitchen a little too slowly, but it does a damn good job of keeping out of date and spoiled lettuce at an adequately chilled temperature.

Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do
Open drawer talk not going away.... Wife was putting away the groceries while was doing something else in the kitchen. Her: "I'm too hot in this sweater. I need to go change clothes. " ... And off she goes. Notice the placement of the asparagus......I would assume that is temporary.... But would likely be wrong. Upon turning around....

Wives and the Stupid Shit They Say/Do
I feel ya @SHOOTER12 . Pictured here are 2, 7 ft tall side light windows from some hurricane damaged church in Florida. She found them in some 'antique' shop in Port. St. Jo, FL while we were on vacation. OOOHHHHHH the plans she had for these. I had to wrap them in bubble wrap and cram them down into kayaks to get them home. I can't believe I didn't break any of the glass. That was 10 years ago. Here they still sit....leaning against a basement wall, along with a bunch of art/maps that have never been frame, and about 13 other pieces of furniture that we don't have room for. And then bitches because of all the junk in the basement. Fuck. And fucking open drawers. I will NEVER understand that.

Rented from some streaming service. Can't remember which one. Maybe Vudu.

"Immediate Family"
Finally caught this last night. Fantastic all around. The moments with Sklar and Phil Collins were fantastic. And Russ Kunkel just seems like a great guy.

Most Successful Artist?
George Harrison was my first thought. And the Beatles might not have recorded many of his songs, but IMO, I like his solo stuff a lot more than any other Beatle and Beatle material was generally by favorite songs. Beatles songs: Here Comes The Son, Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Solo career on these three alone: Beware of Darkness, What Is Life, Give Me Love And yep. Wilburys for greatest supergroup. They wrote all new songs among themselves. And on that first record, not a bump in the road. Highway Men did older songs of their solo career and covers.

Anyone watching the Willie 90th birthday show?
Still, they should have gotten Bruce Robison to do What Would Willie Do. That is a better, more clever song than "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me" and "Sing One With Willie". But at least he got Charley on there.
