Mackovic’s offense brought Texas into the modern era, not James Brown. Also, Gardere in Mackovic’s offense broke most of Layne’s passing records. And Mackovic screwed Brown up by trying to make him a true passing qb.
Also, no mention of Duke Carlisle? QB for the 1st NC, and a pretty darn good qb.
Y'all really don't understand how delusional UH has become. Just sit back and enjoy it. Pezman is out of his depth. A buddy worked there and took off because he saw firsthand what a shit show it was about to become (moreso than it already was).
This comes as no surprise at all, amd it is a bad decision.
Every UH fan completely believes two things: 1) Texas is the devil and the reason why they cannot get into a power 5 conference and 2) UH should never have more than 2 losses in a season, if that. Trying to comvince them otherwise is a waste of time.
He failed to mention it because it's not true. Stafford was Georgia all the way, and while Brees wanted to come to Texas, that was Mackovic, not Brown.
I'd be fine with a 6 team playoff. All P5 conference winners plus the highest ranked G5/Independent. Lowest 4 seeds play games the week after the conference championship games (which should be considered playoff games). So 3vs6 and 4vs5 on the home fields of the higher seeded teams. After that it's the 4 team format that exists now.
Added to that, every conference should have to have 9 game conference schedules and FBS teams can only schedule one FCS team for OOC (and that should have to be played within the first 3 games). Heck, just do that and everyone will start to see clearer separation of the top teams.
Ryan in the books did go to BC. He taught at Annapolis.
Just finished it, thought it was good. Kind of slow moving at times. I did like that they show him as decisive, a key trait in the books.
Just $100. He and his friends were at a table right next to me and my friends. I was cheering for the Cowboys, our tables started talking to each other. He and his friends were making ridiculous prop bets on all of the games. He asked if I wanted to make it interesting, I laughed and said I probably didn't have enough to make it too interesting for him, so he suggested $100 and I took it. Cowboys won on a last second field goal. Most fun $100 I have ever made.
Made a bet with Michael Jordan on the Cowboys/Giants game at a bar in Chicago in December 2006. I won.
Hung out with Jennifer Reyna a few times over the past month.
