  1. So...we’re favored...at home...against an unranked team...after a big win...and Tom Herman is still our coach? Most surefire loss in recent program history. Like Mack Brown faces OU pre 05 surefire.
  2. It took three cowless radials to do it, but Ford eventually proved that they could make a Quonset hut fly. There’s a little airport in a semi resort community in the tip of Ohio SE of Detroit where they’re build a tri motor from scratch. Might already be flying.
  3. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.
  4. I’d be curious to know if all the same flight laws and protections were built into it as other Airbus products.
  5. Trevor Lawrence taking his quarantine seriously.
  6. Correct. In between a Herc and a C17 in size and specs if I recall.
  7. Oh I dunno. I think there’s a better than even chance that he’s on the BU sideline dropping kisses on Aranda’s baldpate.
  8. You got it all wrong. If he wins we send him out on a high note with a $20M parting gift.
  9. I’ve never seen that thing actually move. Pretty sure they have some A340’s and maybe a 76 or 330.
  10. They’re pretty much all close losses. And that’s the problem. We find ways to lose close games, and we make every game...a close game.
  11. Maybe he multiplied 2,200 yards by 4 db’s and arrived at nearly 9000 yards. Unless there’s a nickel or a spur. So you have 5 db’s, but I wouldn’t worry about that little guy.
  12. I dunno. I kinda see a zoom call reminiscent of the scene from Dances With Wolves where Costner’s character slowly realizes that the commander of Ft. Hays is crazy. Mack, instead of mad scribblings and references to English knights, advises Urban while alternately taking a bite from a fresh baked cookie and a half wrapped stick of butter before standing up and revealing that he’s pissed himself.
  13. Thought there were whispers of Hermdog hitting practice with alcohol on his breath last year.
  14. “Just stand there assholes”was kinda ambiguous.
  15. If you want to make Texas a better place take Urb off the shelf and make the change. Nuh, nah, nah. Nuh, nah, nah.....
  16. Das Portal and zero eligibility penalty year combining with Urban returning to a blue blood ought to bring forth a few candidates who won’t need to be built up from the high school ranks though I’m not opposed to loading up on those studs either. * sorry, I was trying to reply to LTX above your post.
  17. 8-4 or 9-3 seem entirely probable in Urban’s first year as the roster cycles a bit and we still have no answers at multiple positions. Shit gets real in year two imoho. Texas is in better shape than when Tom found it, but not in better shape than Ohio State when Urban stepped in.
  18. Please. 85%+ of the population will look at the letter after the name and pull the handle. The world is imploding, mountain out of molehill BS will largely be shelved for 3 more years lest the waterheaded, undecided target audience get tired of the white noise too soon.
  19. He is, but only for hyper political assholes. The rest of us will tune into about 12-18 months out.

    WOLVERINES!!!!
  21. I like to think of that as The Vic Mackey Lackey.
  22. Sam is about as skilled as Helen Keller on deep passes to non senior year Devin Duvernay. Deep shots need to be taken every quarter, but they are far and away not our forte, and, even if Sam were a talented deep passer, our WR’s win contested catches at about as often as Tom Herman goes undefeated against the unranked teams on the schedule. We’re a pass first (short to intermediate), Sam’s legs second and try not to fuck up inside zone or stretch third type of offense. Sam’s legs are the straw that stirs our drink keeping defenders either in conflict or undermanned with someone in the back 7 spying him. There it is. Go forth and score. The offense is largely there. By that I mean the plays are often their to be made, but we call them like we have Dwayne Haskins throwing instead of Sam.
  23. It’s funny since it’s basically the equivalent of 2 F15’s, 2 F14’s or 4 F16’s.
