This is it for me. It's 3rd and 3 first drive of the game, throw a quick swing pass to Wisner who is probably our best offensive player right now and let him make a play and build some momentum and confidence in a struggling unit. I knew the game was fucked as soon as Sark dialed up that bullshit double reverse pass.
Arch's best option here was probably to pump fake it and see if he could pick up the first with his legs, who knows if that works though since 3/5 of our OL would have probably just continued to stand around doing nothing.
How bout that play call though! Third and 3 on the road with an offense that has been struggling on your own side of the field, let's dial up a low percentage slow developing deep shot trick play???
Very funny that some folks are trying to put the blame on our 9 cfb game starts QB for a play where he is running the play as designed (fake screen TE wheel), instead of our extremely experienced supposed genius play caller head coach who for some reason thought it would be a good idea once again to keep trying for slow developing deep balls all night with an offensive line that sucks ass and hasn't shown all season that it can hold up long enough for those plays to be successful.
Expecting the offense to have performed better to this point in season 5 under Sark is not unreasonable. The way that Flood and Sark have mismanaged the OL should piss you off.
