  1. I think you also get all the games broadcast on "Texan Live".
  2. For those of you that don’t know. I was unaware until last Friday. Dave Campbell’s has a Friday night wrap up show on YouTube. I watched it last week and enjoyed it. https://youtube.com/@davecampbells
  3. Drip 28 Bowie 21 Two muffed punts led to Bowie touchdowns. Plus another red zone turnover kept it closer than it looked like after the first. Drip a distant 3rd in 26-6A. Lost their best receiver for the year in a practice this week.
  4. They've done fine in the past, I usually hit the seal button pretty quickly. You can also freeze them on a sheet pan and seal the already frozen links.
  5. Cased some chicken bacon ranch links yesterday. Haven't decided if I'm gonna leave them fresh or smoke them... didn't use pink salt, so either way I'll vacuum seal and freeze.
  6. This has me thinking Drip might be fool’s gold. We’ll see in 2 weeks vs LT.
  7. A little more granular on the play-by-play pls.
  8. My 12 y/o daughter and I have started a daddy/daughter book club. We started with "The Book Thief" and I'm curious what ya'll would recommend for our next book?
  9. 4592222.com - why don't you jot it down. I loved a steak from the Hofbrau swimming in a pool of butter.
  10. Austin Anderson 42 - A&M Consolidated 40 after a number of OTs.
  11. Austin Bowie up 14-0 on Lake Travis at end 1st quarter. Lake Travis up 42-14 at half.
  12. Booches is classic college town fare. My dad has a story about being a regular when he was a prof at Mizzou. I was too young to remember anything else.
  13. That 3rd and 25 play was definitely the game. Completely swung the momentum and the score to go up 27-14 broke Vandy. Fun game, hopefully they can beat WL or LT this year.
  14. Drip 41-14 over Vandegrift!!
  15. Going to Drip vs. Vandy tomorrow. Drip breaking in a bunch of new players on offense. Vandy coming off a state championship. Expect Vandy to win big here.
  16. Yeah, we're looking at 24 and 25. Probably the most basic/easiest to buy set. That seems like Score and Donruss.
  17. So, I'm putting together an 87 Topps baseball base set in binder... a couple of rack pack boxes and a couple of trades on TCDB are gonna finish that set here shortly. Masshole Jr. is into it and wants to build recent football base sets. He's def gonna rip some packs, but the bulk base is a lot harder to get than old junk wax baseball. Does anyone here have access to bulk base football they're looking to get rid of? Happy to pay shipping or meet in the Austin area.
  18. Was looking for salt pork and came across this. Burgers’ Smokehouse has been making damn good aged country ham for 100 years. My old man still sends me their bacon and jowl sampler for Christmas. This stuff made some great Sichuan dry fried green beans.
  19. Got dropped in a big RIF... fintech company I was with planned the budget under the assumption that looser regulations were gonna spur M&A and PE money this year, but uncertainty reigned supreme instead. Seems like they used this to reduce the remote workforce and unfortunately remote isn't a protected class. I've been in the Pricing Strategy space for a good while, SaaS and CDN. Looking to connect and network with people in tech space. DM me here and we can connect on LinkedIn.
  20. Good ol' Worthington's Law... this video has been viewed 24 times!
  21. Take the green line, way easier than parking and driving in Boston. Lots of good restaurants in Boston. Since you have a car and if you want to get away a little bit, my recommendations: Super beef 3-way on an onion roll at Fresco's in Malden Fried chicken at Nan's in Stow (gotta order 2 hours ahead, get the biscuits too) Ice Cream at Uhlman's in Westborough Bar pizza at Hoey's in Randolph.
  22. I find sooners and pigs way worse in person; aggy way worse online. They all suck.
  23. On my Father's Day weekend trip to Port Lavaca, we hit City Market on the way down and Lavaca BBQ on the way back. I go to CM every time I head to the coast and it greatly exceeded expectations this time. The brisket was better than usual, and I always like it. Lavaca was very good and deserving of its recent recognition. Ribs were too sweet for me and the beans were bland, but the serrano sausage and brisket were as good as other top 10/50s I've been to since the '21 list came out.
