An interesting article with very interesting statistics about the homeless issue in SF:

She's cracking me up with her "Honestly, Jesus still loves me" statements after having sex before marriage. She seems very torn between banging hot guys vs staying on the straight and narrow Christian path.
Someone needs to bring back the sushi trailer that was in front of Lowe's about a year or two ago. That trailer made me laugh every time I walked by it.
Just went to T&C in April.
If you want the "picture of the Caribbean beach on postcards" experience, go to Chalk Sound. Amazingly beautiful.
Taxis are crazy expensive. Even the official T&C tourist website recommends not taking a taxi.
We rented a car. I enjoyed turning on the windshield wipers repeatedly when I was trying to use the turn signal (cause it's reversed). Also using a turn signal and not just pulling out in front of other cars makes you a tourist.
As recommended above, if you are up for an adventure, go to North Caicos/Middle Caicos on the ferry and rent a car. Dragon Cay beach has a huge cave on the beach and Bambarra is shallow and you can walk to a giant sandbar. We stayed for a few days in North Caicos and that was very interesting. It's a whole different lifestyle on North/Middle compared to Provo.
Chinson's Grill is tasty. Friendly people but not much atmosphere.
Groceries are expensive:
Chicken or steak bowl at Cabo Bob's on Anderson
Goat soup and goat meat at Taco More (Parkfield and Rundberg)
Lots of breakfast options at La Casita (Anderson Ln by railroad tracks)
Gyro meat on salad at Halal Bros (Braker by Metric)
Will Smith made two movies - I Am Legend and Hancock. Both movies start strong but the second half is atrocious. Each movie is 1/2 of a good movie.
My brilliant idea - combine the two movies!
Drunk, 'doesn't give a shit' superhero vs thousands of zombies.
I fell on that grenade. Went there about two weeks ago.
It's very okay. It has the normal broccoli and beef & kung pao chicken type dishes on the menu plus a few spicier dishes, like spicy fish. The american chinese dishes were okay and the few other spicier dishes were slightly above average. The meal was nothing memorable.
If someplace close is the number one priority, it'll do. I'd rather drive the extra 10 minutes to Rice Bowl Cafe.
Good news about exercising later in life:
If people start to exercise in midlife, even if they have not worked out for years, they can rapidly gain most of the longevity benefits of working out.

I have a Roku and had a Tablo.
My experience with a Tablo was mixed. It's easy to setup and the app is straightforward. But it had trouble streaming to my Roku - buffering, drops, etc. And it's expensive - you are paying $200 and still need a USB drive.
In the end, I returned the Tablo and bought a $30 box off Amazon that connects via HDMI to the TV. The interface is horrible but it's $30.
