I went to school with a guy who was in danger of not graduating. Seriously, needed one last grade during the last term to push him up into eligibility for graduation. A month or two prior, before he even knew whether or not he would graduate, A&M said they would accept him if he joined the corps 🤦🏽♂️
Professional 1-0 win over Ipswich Town to move on the last 16 of the FA Cup for the first time in 29 years. Oddly enough, they play Ipswich again next week in league play.
To paraphrase Trey Faltine's mom (Weslaco HS alum, puro 956) after the Bo Davis bus rant: "If a coach told that to one of my kids....I would've repeated it in Spanish once we got home just to be sure he got the message"
Has experience as an interim. Interim at Lazio, got them qualified for Europa League Interim at Juventus, kept them in a champions league spot (but was fired earlier this season after a 8 game winless run) Per an article in the athletic, he prefers a 3-4-2-1 system.
Vic ripped into the team apparently Schaefer calls out Longhorns after loss: 'We have no heart' Associated Press NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Texas women's basketball coach Vic Schaefer didn't hold back his criticism following the No. 4 Longhorns' 86-70 loss to No. 5 Vanderbilt on Thursday night. "We have no heart," Schaefer said. "We're not tough. It's probably the softest team I've had in years." The Longhorns trailed by 26 points before making a late push. "It translates from practices ... my fault," Schaefer said. "I'll wear it. I'll wear all of it. It's my fault. It stops now." After skewering his team, Schaefer pivoted to giving credit to the Commodores and national scoring leader Mikayla Blakes. "That damn team over there is really good," he said. "That's a heck of a team. Take nothing away from that team. They beat the University of Texas. That team's got heart." Blakes scored 34 points. The Longhorns visit No. 22 Tennessee on Sunday.
I'm excited to see who slides in to the spot after Stewie in the lineup next year. Reese has the advantage of not getting pitched around since Stewie is right after her
Reese hit 23 as a sophomore and 21 last year. Let's say she matches 21 this year.... That would put her at 76 So Stewie would need 46 over this year and next year. Would be cool to see that many HRs!
In Vic's defense, he tried to get Aaliyah Chavez, but she decided she didn't want to play defense and would rather play for a coach that wouldn't bench her for jacking up as many 3s as possible regardless of whether or not they are going in. He's also got the #1 recruiting class coming in that supposedly has got some guards with some offensive firepower.
