Tottenham Hotspur 2025-26: For a Few Trophies More
Chelsea scores to put us in 9th... And Odobert hits the post. And Simons can't punish the GK mistake. The chances are going to be there, just need to be clinical.

Tottenham Hotspur 2025-26: For a Few Trophies More
We've had so many chances in front of goal, but we have no clinical finishers to convert them. Maybe Dom when he's back to 100%, but no other attacking player has been good in front of goal today. Even Dom's goal today was far from "clinical"

Texas Softball 2026 - Running it Back.
I have no personal knowledge, but I imagine a hypothetical boycott comes from the news that Tech boosters were offering big money to other teams star players during the season (as early as April) to entice them into the transfer portal. One report had them even offering Atwood during the season.

NIL Recruiting News Megathread
Semantics matter when it comes to legality. In fact, Surly lawyers chime in, but I bet entire legal arguments can be made on the semantics of a contract or of a law. You're arguing that Rev Share is pay-for-play. Practically speaking, that's how most schools are utilizing it, but legally speaking, it is not written as "you get paid to play this sport" From revenue sharing, the school pays the player for the right to do things like use them in commercials, put their name on jerseys in the team shop, promotional materials, etc. This is why it's not considered "pay for play" and why it is still TECHNICALLY illegal to pay "amateur" athletes to play sports. That being said, practically, schools are essentially using it as pay for play, but structuring it as an NIL contract with the school provides a convenient loophole. "We're not paying him to come play for us, we're paying him so that we can put him in school commercials and sell his jersey"
