The OU defense cemented Justin Jefferson's status as a Top 10 pick in the draft if he opts to declare as a Junior which he should with the season he put together.
They're doing it all wrong with this field of 4 playoff format. Every P5 conference champion should be in with 3 at large bids to compose a field of 8 format. The BCS was a farce, but this 4 team playoff isn't a whole lot better. Two more teams get a shot, but with a field of 8 every conference champion is in and 3 deserving teams that may have 1 or potentially two losses can have a crack and scheduling marquee OOC opponents would be much less punishing with 8 teams included into the playoffs.
This is one of the most embarrassing losses I can recall. Providence is NOT good this season and they dismantled Texas with ease. Shaka is a goof, can't wait for CDC to send that clown packing.
This team will not make the NCAA tournament. They'll be lucky to win 7 or 8 conference games which won't be adequate enough to make the big dance. NIT bound once again, the Shaka shit show continues you miserable fucking troll.
Preseason rankings are cancer, there shouldn't even be an AP or Coaches poll released until 3-4 weeks transpire. FWIW Texas wasn't even projected to win the Big 12. How can you consider a team that isn't even the favorite to win it's own conference a playoff contender or relevant?
That sugar bowl was fool's gold. Losses to Maryland and one of the worst Oklahoma State teams this decade. No proven depth at corner and a thin LB corps led me to feel a 9-3 type season was on the horizon in 2019. Hell, in retrospect that would've been much better compared to the shit show that transpired in 2019. With a DC that would've adapted his scheme that may have happened, but Orlando was too stubborn. To think it could've been worse, Dicker bailed out Herman a couple of times.
Yes, yes they were. Delusional dumbfucks is an appropriate description. A team that replaced 8 defensive starters in an offensively driven conference was not going to compete for a playoff slot. Plain and simple.
You're stuck in the 2000s. It's been a decade since the program was relevant. How can a team that can't compete with California, Maryland, TCU and Okie St be expected to win a NC?
Allegedly Herman is very interested in Kendal Briles. Hard telling what is true or bullshit, but this site would go nuclear if Kendal Briles was named OC.

LMAO.....you mean like this shit?
I'm watching the first season of Dark, I'm presently on the 3rd episode. It seems really good so far, like a darker version of Stranger Things. I must've been out of the loop on this one, I never heard a peep about it until recently.
They'll never play for a championship with D'Antoni and the funny thing is the false sense of hope Rocket fans had after the WCF several years ago when Golden State was on cruise control. He is what he is : a good enough coach to win a bunch of regular season games with a talented roster that can occasionally reach the conference finals, that's the ceiling.
