Simon looks like a potentially great back but Wisner is experienced and is so much better at reading our zone running plays than anyone else we had today. Baxter is pretty good at it but with him out today Wisner was far and away the best option today.
So impressed by this guy. I don't think there's any way for us to know how much physical pain he was in at the end of the game but the staff was saying "you're the guy we trust to close this out" and it's the fucking TX/OU game. So he stayed in and did it.
He's the man.
He has also made numerous terrible decisions. Their defense was controlling our offense for the first half, he just needed to play smart. And he did not. Mateer played very badly. The 3 INTs could have been 5 or 6.
Arch Manning is better than John Mateer.
I said it. And it's true. Don't get me wrong, Manning has a LONG way to go but Mateer is one of the most overrated players in the country.
We had two other successful RB runs that were negated by penalties that didn't affect the play. Wisner already had the edge on Brooks's hold and Mosley's had nothing to do with the play.
I would like to point out that the OL has been not great but the biggest issue is inexperienced penalties on Brooks. The kind of thing that playing him more against the 3 straight crap teams would have helped with.
But even still it has not been the absolute complete dumpster fire it's been all year with Stroh playing. OU is a good defense.
You replied to a Loomer tweet furious about it. That is the definition of a wedge issue.
And he did say something so I'm not sure what the point of playing make believe is. The information is out.
We are past reason. This is a potential wedge issue to unseat these fascist shitheads. They still haven't helped Americans who voted for them and are hurting (farmers, etc.) but they've found the time and money to bail out Argentina and help Qatar.
Why? Because regular hard-working Americans can't make them even more obscenely rich. So they don't give a shit about them.
THAT is the proper reaction and messaging. Unless you want the "other stuff that's happening" as you minimized it to continue happening.
It sounds like you know the answer but you just don't want to believe it. We are currently in the "first they came for" phase.
First they came for protestors in Portland
Will you speak out now even though you're not a protestor in Portland or a permanent resident in Miami? Or will you wait until there's nobody left to speak out for you.
And keep in mind that the author of that poem wasn't just a guy asking questions and wondering how bad things were, he was actually a Nazi supporter at first. He actually thought what was happening was okay when they were in the phase we're in now.
The point is that history is repeating itself. If you truly want answers to what is happening they were literally already published 80 years ago, you just have to honestly want to find them.
Well it's a different world now and you have to win elections to fix things. In case you haven't noticed, raging assholes win elections now, moreso after the raging assholery is known.
Someone important like someone in the current administration who is interviewed by major news networks with the White House in the background? That kind of important?
Possibly addressed already but you genuinely don't understand why they would empty grease traps right after their busiest nights? The same huge crowd you think they should avoid would cause your plan to result in full and overflowing grease traps and therefore unplanned kitchen closings before closing time on Saturday.
The narrative states that he had already pulled the knife and stabbed Sanchez when he was violently thrown against a dumpster and tumbled onto some pallets. My initial guess would be that he was holding the knife when he fell and his cheek was cut as he hit the dumpster, pallets, or ground.
