Yeah I feel bad for all of those in that business. We actually owned a burger joint with a full bar, sold it in November just before Covid showed up. Cannot tell you how happy I was to be out of that business but feel bad for the guys that bought it. I know they are struggling, not sure where they are financially but hope they can make it.
We make a very similar sauce at home, we don’t boil the garlic though. We blend up stems and all and add equal amounts of oil and the water from the boil.
I have lived in Amarillo most of my life and we get a pretty good dose of winter. I like the cold and enjoy the snow, just don’t know about having snow on the ground for months at a time. My parents lived in Denver for a while, mom loved it and dad hated the winters.
Wife and I both have entertained moving to Montrose for the same reason. Love being in that part of Colorado. Just not sure what the winters would be like being there full time.
