I used the one above by Tony Texas and used buttermilk for the liquid. I also used about 1/8C sugar, not the 1/4 listed. I used canola oil at 350° and fried them for about 3.5 minutes. I did them two at a time so I could manage them better and not drop the temp of the oil as much. Yes, I dried the raw weenie with a paper towel and very lightly dusted them with AP flour. They really did turn out damn good. Let me know if you make them and what you think.
Thanks for the heads up! Need to show this to him and see what his thoughts are. I know there are lots of upgrades he and I need to do that are more important than this but none more popular.
So do you have one of the factory radios already in place and will replace that with the refurb updated cat daddy new unit? Curious what that will run, my son has a 65 stang with original equipment. Might need to do this exact upgrade.
Yeah I didn’t think about them being juicy/greasy. Might try to cook the hotlink first then batter and fry it. Thinking I might mince up a bunch of green chiles and let them sit in the batter overnight to help infuse the flavor. Anxious to see how yours turn out if you do make them.
Great looking Super Air Nautique 230 on eBay, road trip to Hotlanta. 2015 boat but looks damn clean, asking 80K, didn’t read to see if hours were posted.
I think one of the pro tips is to coat the dog in flour before you dip it in the batter. This helps the batter stick to the dog. We tried making them several years ago without much success, the batter wanted to come loose from the dog.
He referred to the RRS as the OU V Texas game, look dumbass, it’s the fucking TEXAS vs ou sucks game. He’s just here for the paycheck.
Also, he mentioned his conversation with Dabo, hopefully he was testing the water for a job.
Tech always plays us big at their house. How many times have we lost in fuckin tortillaville when we were expected to win? Be glad we won, take the W and move on.
