Ljungberg gumbo bowls, they have lots of cool Cajun bowls and plates.
Gumbo
Sausage and turkey gumbo from the fried turkey stock.

Stock made from the fried turkey carcass, it was damn good.
We're getting older, so let's reach some conclusions about gin
Headed to the likker store now for gin replenishments. The Hendrick’s Orbium mentioned above is fantastic.
Hunting ‘23/‘24: Bag ‘em and Tag ‘em
Love it when the Panhandle is green like that. Lots of rain today, hopefully it will stay green for a while.

Good to know @Chewbacca, I started to buy a bottle of that but opted out to the Orbium. I haven’t opened it yet but will this weekend.

Seems like Caesar Guerini owns Fabarms. CG makes great shotguns, I love the ones I have. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had a chance at one with a discount.

Texas BBQ
Looks like Terry Black’s BBQ will open a Waco location soon. Be another good source while in Waco.
Texas BBQ
Will Guess BBQ in Waco make it? I ate there two weeks ago and the brisket was as good as any top ten. Ate there today and brisket was dry as could be. Both times the place was empty just before noon. See where they are open on days they used to be closed and have added dinner service, seems like the kiss of death. Another brick and mortar that seems to be struggling.
Bourbon
Cheeves Bros in Temple has PVW 20 for $250/pour, I passed.
What to do in Abilene.
Perini Ranch as many times as possible.

Was he borrowing pits too? Or are you thinking of Stabby?
Bourbon
Saw my first birthday bourbon out in the wild, they wanted $1300.
Leftovers
We call leftovers drag outs, which often get repurposed into scrambled eggs or topped with fried eggs. That drag out breakfast looks damn good.

Grizzly has one that won’t break the bank. $229 for saw, tracks and a couple of clamps and no shipping charge.

Shrimp and grits from Luke NYE!
Cheese Enchiladas
Maybe they tack that on to the families that let their kids make a fuckin mess and don’t clean it up. Chaps my ass when folks do that. Now, back to cheese enchiladas.
