We don’t need or want more notoriety to the sacred enchilada hole in the wall places. Next thing you know the fucking hipsters will be lining up at 9A for cheese enchiladas. Surly enchilada wisdom is good enough for me.
One on my bucket list is Gris Gris. We went for the game and I wanted to go but just couldn’t make it happen. So many great places and we are typically only there 3-4 days when we go. I can go there once a month and still wish I was there more often.
Surprisingly, Walk On’s has good gumbo and good fried catfish, I dip the catfish into the gumbo like chips and salsa. It’s a great combo and dipping individually keeps the fish crispy. Thanks for the heads up @Brisketexan several weeks/months ago on a pro staff eating thread.
@Herbie Hancock did you ever work with or know the Boots and Jeans store in Amarillo. Was a crazy busy store for years and had great customer service. The original owner sold it 2-3 times over the years. He would sell it and the new buyer would run it in the ground, then buy it back and build it back up to a well oiled machine, then sell it again. It was the best boot and hat store for several years.
@Herbie Hancock yeah I love em, they are a great boot. I have a pair just like these but peanut brittle that are my favorite. Looking at Mr Deadshank’s, I think his are black.
Great looking set up @Fat Bastard
‘Found me a snake wheel gun at a pawn shop the other day. King Cobra 357. It’s one of the new Colt builds, not the older version.
