Where are getting that high of a turnout? I hope it is but doesn't look like it to me.
  2. Texas73 replied to Washpark's topic in Cloak Room
    You're the asshole, asshole.
  3. Cruz is grossly awful too but looks like he will win. Millions of Texans voting for him just because of the R.
  4. Texas73 replied to Washpark's topic in Cloak Room
As of a few days ago there is now one lonely Cruz sign on Balcones Drive between 35th and 45th and many Beto signs. Many are million dollar + homes.

Beto is going to regret not supporting one of his opponents? Makes sense.
  6. Explain how Democrats can help Dikeman take Trump's votes.
  7. I can't believe Hurd keeps winning. Being an incumbent must be big factor.
  8. Which 2 counties of the biggest 12 do you expect Beto not to win?

    And Steven Seagal
  10. What in the hell are you saying? Do you speak English?
  11. Overtime? What do you call the years of the Repubs investigating Hillary?
  12. Is today Halloween?

You didn't hear about the last Texas legislative sessions wasting the its time on where trans-gendered people can pee? My Republican friends actually believe that grown straight men will dress up as women to go into women's restrooms and rape them if trans are allowed to pee in the restroom of their gender. As for as minority rights, have you heard of voter suppression? The Voting Rights Act of 1965 has already been gutted and there are numerous examples of Republicans suppressing minority votes in the election.
  14. When did 56 get to be old as in old white male?
  15. Texas73 replied to Washpark's topic in Cloak Room
Wealthy people should not get the bulk of the tax cuts since they already have plenty of money. Did you pay attention to what the Texas legislature wasted the last session on? It was where a transgendered person can pee. Also in the last few sessions Republicans in Texas have done their best to prevent women from deciding what they can do with their bodies.

Your post is stupid, it is a big issue and you are bragging that 44% of Republicans now support it. That is nothing to brag about.
  17. I grew up in rural east Texas and I've heard that line plenty of times. The town I grew up in had no blacks and there is a reason why. Racism.
  18. Translate for the elderly.
  19. Agree, but I have hope that more people are voting for Beto in Red counties than voted for Clinton. She didn't go to all 254 counties.
  20. Texas73 replied to Washpark's topic in Cloak Room
Lots of poor rural white folks who vote red have these conditions. I know, I know, people on both sides of the political spectrum have these conditions but being a Democrat that is the first group I thought of.

I am under that impression. I know one person who is disabled who got insurance through the ACA and another who has money and not working and she gets her insurance through the ACA. She is close to getting Medicare as she is in her 60's. The article I read stated : At the time of the interview (May 22, 2018), 9.9 million people, or 3.7 percent, obtained health coverage through the Affordable Care Act marketplaces or state-based exchanges. 3.7 3.7% is a small part of the country. What am I missing?

My guess is the biggest increase we pay since 2010 is the amount in property taxes.
  23. And you would be wrong as usual.
  24. Texas73 replied to Washpark's topic in Cloak Room
What is the point? Healthcare costs have been very high for decades, both before and after 2010. I assume most on here have never been on the ACA since we have college degrees and thus our healthcare is through our employers.
  25. Voted at the Old Quarry Library on Village Center off Far West Blvd this morning at 9. the line was about 20 people. Excited that the turnout in Texas is breaking all the records. Good news for Dems.
