Texas GOP seems to have the same playbook as Rafael Edward Cruz: Try too hard at being funny.

The difference in these 2 pictures says it all. Bunch of pissed off old people versus some kids excited to be with their candidate. Its amazing how one campaign seems to be run by complete novices and is going all negative and the other one is starting to run like a well oiled machine and has people excited and is staying positive.
  7. Its defined in the bill and California law. Linkie So, with the knowledge now of what is violent crime, can you explain why you think this is a fake news story, other than the fact that the AP didn't fully explain the bill in its tweet?

I'm voting for Tippetts or not at all, because fuck hot wheels and lupe.
  9. relapse98 replied to Washpark's topic in Cloak Room
Aye. It'll just feed the 'Beto wants to make Texas like California' tired line.

Its all about the money money money (apologies to Jessie J for scrambling the words).

Well, in the 2016 Florida Congressional Primary, he came in 3rd place with 17.39%. 2014 Maryland Congressinal General, he got 48.2%. 2012 Maryland Senate General, he got 26.66% (Jesus, dude, how on earth do you only get 26.66% of the votes as the nominee from 1 of the 2 major parties - like, that's really not good.)
  13. Holey, shit. Florida gets that MILF as Attorney General and we have the lazy eyed thief? We got out whataburgered.

I think Lt. Dan might also have some brain damage from the war. And does Cruz have anyone working on his campaign staff that can vet people before they post shit? Maybe see if Lt. Dan is cuckoo ca choo before wanking him off?

So, apparently Neal Dikeman (Class of 98, whoop!) is the libertarian candidate and we also have the independents Carl Bible, Jonathan Jenkins and Bob McNeil.

Apparently he was watching whatever Lance Armstrong was up to at the time, because Lance Armstrong's endorsement matters... to 1 person.

Lord the last 50 posts have been completely retarded.
  19. I still think a lot of it is just trolling.

Votes. And votes. Cruz doesn't actually take a stand on anything, he's like a fucking jellyfish (and kinda looks like one), he just goes where the tide takes him.

A violation of the US Flag Code. Weird that the same people who 'stand for the flag' and all that bullshit so readily jump on a modified flag.

Typical leftist media. Always spreading lies about true conservatives.

  25. At the last visit my therapist pointed out that I don't really have any close friends that I can confide anything in, and she's right. My closest friend is my wife, but I really need to branch out. I have a (what we've termed) superficial friend that I'm trying to get closer to. Good guy. She also noted that I don't really have any 'me' hobbies. Apparently getting shitfaced drunk at the pool by myself and falling down doesn't count. We talked about what I like and generally outdoors it involves water, hiking or geocaching. So I'm trying to branch out and do some hiking meetups. I also recently took on a project of my own. A guy here in town had a great FB and web page with all the local live music events. He became a grandfather last year, started doing genealogy stuff a lot and feels he just hasn't been putting in the work. I LOVED his page. It was exactly what you needed. And so I was sad when he said he was going to step away - there really is no other resource that ties things together like his does. So I thought about what it would take and started down that road. Created a database, a table for the venues, a table for the events. Loaded up the venues and found where they hide their events and started loading those in. I've almost duplicated what he was putting out but I think its quite manageable - I wrote a script that takes the date as the input and spits out each venue, event time and cost that I can c&p into a FB post and into the details on a google calendar entry. Its pretty badass and I've gotten some people started using it. Once the legwork is done of getting the data entered, it doesn't seem like it'd be that much to keep up with. I have a Bookmarks folder that I just click load and then look for any new events at any venue and then keep my ear out for anything new that comes up that I don't have. If anything, it provides me the data I would now be lacking and can hopefully provide the same for others. After I published it, I posted about how I liked his stuff, tagged his old page and he actually commented and thanked me and we're chatting about a couple of venues that I couldn't find info on (he apparently was the one that booked them). I'm pretty stoked about this project and hope it can channel my ADHD/OCD into something productive.
