For those of us in SE Texas, there is still snow on the table. We won’t know for certain until Sunday really, but it’s fun to imagine. I just hope my business trips gets canceled so I can stay home and throw the football in the snow with my son.
That’s exactly what I am saying. I tell the spy do not watch his eyes, head, shoulders or anything other than his hips. I absolve them of any responsibility other than that. They have to keep him in the pocket. The DE have to maintain discipline and cannot rush past him. That’s when he kills you.
If I’m game planning against KC, I would use a spy on Mahomes. I would assign them #15 is their only responsibility the entire game. Don’t pay any attention to pump fakes. Look only at his hips and attack them every chance you get.
Weather models always struggle with cold fronts like this. There is snow pack in the Midwest which means the air will not moderate like the last front did. Also, this is more of a direct hit than the glancing blow we got last time. It’s likely to be colder than what the models are suggesting right now. By Saturday, there should be pretty good agreement on how this is going to shake out. The fact that the NWS is showing a possibility of wintry mix 6 days out in Houston shows the confidence they have that cold air will be in place.
Look, yall need to resign yourselves that this team is cursed. The Red Sox had the “Curse of the Bambino”. The Cubs had the “Curse of the Billy Goat”. The Cowboys have “The Curse of the Hillbilly Owner”.
Some of us are old enough to have lived through the creation of America’s Team and the success during the 70’s. We suffered a few years until Jimmy righted the ship. For those of you born in to Cowboys fandom after those glory years??? You’ll be the fans your grandchildren are at the cemetery drinking a celebratory beer next to your tombstone the next time the Cowboys win a Super Bowl. Sorry to have to be the one to break it to you.
We’re about in that time frame when models “lose” the cold air. All the Mets I follow are pretty confident about the cold, but not so confident about the moisture.
