I just wish they would be more realistic. Have a real plan. Fans won’t be in attendance so why not more neutral site games so there is no overnight travel?
Kansas teams and Iowa St should meet us in Dallas. In and out in same day. Besides keeping kids from partying it should be easier to keep the infection rate down if they just brought all of the players on to campus.
Vegas is going to collapse. I can’t imagine there will be any major conventions until maybe this time next year if then.
sports coming back should help the books but they are probably looking at less than 25% occupancy for the next year.
Honestly they all suck and they all take all day. If you can schedule an appointment with Covert and drop it off. Otherwise you will be there 8 hours in a Corona filled waiting room.
Between the tropical storm and Covid, would you make a trip down there in a couple weeks for the weekend?
We have a house booked and planned to just hang out and social distance on the beach like we usually do. They will let us reschedule but not cancel with refund.
Austin had under 100 cases today. Also less than 400 hospitalizations. It’s been a long time since it was under 400. ICU and vents have been pretty stable for a few days now
In college I was taking a coed back to her apartment by Barton Creek Mall. It was about 3am and I should not have been driving either. Guy was coming North bound on the south bound lanes of Mopac at Barton Skyway. I made drunk to decision to just pull in the grass. Right after I did he tagged a car that was probably .25 mile behind me. I did not stop and render aid. Still think about that every so often.
Austin has 100% taken a downward trajectory. Tuesday was shitty but 7 out of last 8 days have been below 300 cases.
With some good news this weekend Travis County area could also drop below 140 in ICU and below 100 on vents.
I haven’t tracked the whole state but also saw Bexar was down 10% in hospitalizations.
The Valley is still in a very bad situation.
Nueces County has more people in ICU than Travis.
Last I heard Harris County was moving in the right direction as well.
We have rented our RV on Outdoorsy. I was nervous to let people pull it but overall everyone treated it nicely.
With a boat there are a lot of issues. I see people returning boats to our marina that should not be driving a boat.
Is Lake Nacogdoches easy to navigate or do you need to know where trees and low areas are? If it’s not super deep I would be really hesitant.
145 new cases in Austin today. 4 days in a row with under 300. 5 days ago was 413 new cases. We will see what Tuesday brings but new cases looking really good for almost a week.
