This right here. If something was said or done to you years ago and you are just now bringing it up then just how bad was it?
How much retro-action is allowable? Are we going to stop showing old movies from the ‘30”s and “40’s because they are not politically correct? Going to quit airing reruns of The Chappell Show and In Living Color? Etc.?
I am all for doing the right thing and getting this Nation united but I have a hard time with exaggeration and exploitation.
My first UT game to attend was as a senior in high school in 1983. I went to the Rice game where Simmons broke one off for about 70 or 80 yards. I was so excited about what that year was going to bring and to know that I would be seeing him in person for the next few years as i would be attending UT the next year. Little did I know at that time what was to come.
Being from the Longview area I knew all about Simmons as he was covered at length each Saturday morning in the Longview News Journal. Of course this was before instant highlights on TV and the internet so I could only imagine what he was doing to others albeit he was from a small school. It is a shame about his knees. He was special.
I was in the village of Tete, Mozambique a couple of years ago and I saw a villager wearing a UT t-shirt. Out of curiosity I threw up the "Horns" sign. I was met with a blank stare.
I lost a substantial amount of money in a large unmarked brown paper bag. It should be easy to identify as all of the money was $20 bills so that should separate it from any other finds. There may or may not be a bit of white "dust" on it. Please return. No questions will be asked. Will keep it confidential.
I am not worried about myself but about others that are around me. I am 53 and have only missed 2 days of work due to illness in 31 years. I travel a lot domestically and internationally for work so I have built up quite the immune system. Chances are I would have it but would not show signs of it. My parents are in their late 70's and my mom is not in the best health plus I have two granddaughters 8 months and 6 weeks old respectively so I do not want to be "that person".
I only make 2 or 3 games a year anyway.
My guess is that #3 probably received a penalty for taunting. I am also assuming that Coryatt was not penalized for at that time it was just vicious collision.
This is just stupid. Clickbait for the aggy cult. Will not read the article in its entirety. But the answer is, No, will not be a first rounder. I doubt he will be drafted at all.
