I celebrate his entire catalog.- The movie you just watched
After recently finishing Matthew McConaughey audio book Greenlights, I decided to go back and watch a couple of his movies that I haven't seen in a while. (side note, True Detective Season 1 is my all time favorite movie or anything, with Interstellar almost tied). Last night I watched Mud with my wife and 11yo son. Lot's of good lessons in there. After they went to bed I watched Killer Joe. That movie is straight up fucked up. I recommend watching it alone due to multiple unbelievably uncomfortable scenes. Holy shit.- Thieves can die in a fire and take an electrified catheter charged by lightning
Curious if you are in Temple. I am investigating a rash of 50+ property theft from vehicle cases in that area.- Your death row final meal
Who's running the damn parole board? http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/statistics/deathrow/drowlist/etheridg.jpg And to stay on topic: Nachos (with cheese and peppers), crispy French fries, one cheeseburger, one fried chicken patty, one cinnamon roll, cheese, ketchup, and pickles- Your death row final meal
Fascinating and macabre. http://web.archive.org/web/20031202214318/http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/statistics/deathrow/drowlist/elliott.jpg- Your death row final meal

- Corey Feldman's Rockin Revolution - new album dropped. Anyone got it yet?
That looks awesome, but wear a full body condom, dude.- Your death row final meal
This is it. FYI there's a place in Abilene called Bell's Fried Chicken that gets it right. Not sure about their sheet cake, but my wife can make my mom's old recipe.- What Is The Most Alcohol You Have Consumed in any 24 Hour Period?
This. The words incalculable and unknowable come to mine. This wouldn't be any where near my record, but freshman year me and my buddy road trip to Texas Tech Chili. We stop in Post and buy five 30 packs and 3 handles of Crown with no intention of sharing it. The second night, I ran my shin into this concrete planter thing and it split my skin wide open. My girl says, "oh my god! you are actually bleeding pure Coors Light!". So we got in the shower to wash it off, which was fun. We couldn't find any bandages before passing out. I wake up with a gaping shin wound and major pain. I still I have a scar, but it looks like a mountain biking injury. Tech girls are wild and DTF. Especially if you knew them or their friends from high school. I think my actual records involves a long day of pledge drinking, followed by dare-based drinking as I stumbled home to the Castilian. As in, "I can drink that hole bottle of Gold Schlager" in one pull. I probably should have been ambulanced out of there, but my "friends" just kept poking me with a stick to make sure I was breathing for about 36 hours. I think I missed 5 meal-plan meals, arriving at dinner the day after. Ouch.- Cowboy Boots
Ha! That’s what she said! (they were all fresh and clean from the shop) Also 11.5 D or E if I can find them.- Cowboy Boots
Well these old rodeo boots, well I think my dad out rodeoed them (he’s in the West Texas Hall of Fame). This is as good as they could clean up an old yella ostrich. They’re all curled up and gnarly. I was thinking about having them resoled to stretch out the kinks so Priscilla could wear them. Probably die them darker too. Anyone know a boot maker qualified for that?- Cowboy Boots
Elvis boot show coming up! Starting with my dad’s old pythons that I had restored. A little back story.... My dad had a western wear store back in the 80’s, so we were always wearing fresh duds. I even made the paper as a 6yo runway model. (I still have the newspaper clipping) Anyway, my dad was a smaller fella than I grew up to be; 5’8” and wore a 7.5 size boot. And he had a helluva lot of exotics. I wore that size in sixth and seventh grades, which was cool. Now, my 5’7” wife Priscilla fits these boots! So dad’s in a retirement home now and let me and my brother take his boots for wearing, or nostalgia, or whatever. I got these dusty old brittle snake skins cleaned up and gave them to wifey for Christmas. Check it out.... More to follow- The Midnight Sky (apocalyptic, Netflix, Starring (and Directed by) George Clooney plus Kyle Chandler)
I enjoyed it as a weekend hangover morning in bed half-asleep movie. But I like movies about freezing cold survivors like Arctic on Prime. Almost no dialogue.- Post a pic that makes you say "Holy shit."

I kindly disagree, sir. I teach it to my boys and all the players I coach. They catch on pretty quick when you set the expectation that it is given as well as received. I realize now that I started this thread during a strange day for America that I didn’t know was happening at the time I wrote it. Maybe it’s a chance to come together here and tell a good story about life the way it otta be.- RESPECT: Stories about it

I suppose courtesy falls into this category too. Just a little thing that happened to me yesterday. So when I drive around in my truck in the country, I almost always wear a ball cap or a cowboy hat. I don't drive real fast and I try to extend as much country style driving courtesy as possible. Lot's of waving and letting people pass, that type of thing. I find people are really a lot more friendly when I'm wearing my cowboy hat. I also think it helps drivers see where I'm looking because they can see the silhouette. Well I'm at this red light out near Caldwell, and I'm next to a big F350 with my window down. We both accelerate (not race) and it's a little up-hill, so he is getting ahead of me. I look to the left and I'm staring right into the exhaust pipe and I can tell that truck is ready to shift and blow out black smoke right into my window. I think the driver saw me look left because he let off the gas and kept the truck from blasting me. I certainly think that cowboy hat helped my country street cred out there, which led to the other driver extending the courtesy and respect that an aggressive driver or a little car might not have received. I open doors, say yes/no ma'am/sir, say hi to anyone that looks at me, good ol' country stuff. I give everyone the max amount of respect until they give me a reason not to. Have a good story? Trying to keep this positive, but dis-respect is just as important of a topic.- Bastardizations that work
Wife sprinkles M&M's over buttery popcorn. I didn't think I would like it but it's sweet and salty! I found it better to have a little bowl of M&M's in the big popcorn bowl, that way you can get the appropriate ratio of one M&M to 2 or 3 popcorns.- Post a pic that makes you lol
- The Watch Fanatic Thread
Second try. Where is the best place to buy and sell high value watches?- Millennium Falcon of AWESOMNESS
A couple years back I got my son the ~2000 piece falcon. I built the whole kit in n one long sitting on Christmas Day. My back hurt after that. it survived about a month. - Let me guess, this isn't about the alcohol or tobacco
