I think Bohl is a really good coach and still can't figure out why he picked Wyoming when leaving ndsu.
He'll have them ready and they'll play disciplined and be prepared for us. From a talent perspective, it shouldn't be close, but we have to respect that they'll come to play or they could keep it closer than we're all comfortable believing.
After watching Bama, the only thing between this team and all of their goals is how hard they're willing to prepare and the level of effort they're willing to bring each week. I'm actually very interested to watch for that this game. 05 team played to a standard every week (barring maybe aggy when it felt like the pressure was setting in a bit). Can this team do the same?
I did this today. It's a bit to pay for one game, but whatever. I waste more money on things I care less about.
I saw this mentioned elsewhere, but if you want the introductory discount and have used sling before, any Gmail account with an added period in the address will work as a "new" customer but still send to your mail. My Gmail is firstnamelastname@gmail. I used first name.lastname@gmail and got the new user trial discount.
Edit to add, I couldn't be happier I'll never do this again. Good riddance, Lowell.
The fact that they don't use his running threat to consistently create conflict for defenders is insanity.
It not quite the same, but Saban deciding to go back to his old style of offense with Milroe feels a bit like Mack deciding to try to emulate Bama's offense with Garrett Gilbert and the offensive line we had in 2010.
Whenever I think of the disciples in the Bible, Jimbo Fisher, Bobby Petrino, Steve Addazio, DJ Durkin, and Dameyune Craig are pretty close to what I imagine.
I see posts like this and 100% assume it's one of us trolling, because it simply has to be.
Then I notice the ag tag. These people really do think like this.
I'm not trying to change your minds on Saban, but I do think this is necessary input on the "no fun to be around" evaluation: https://saturdaytradition.com/big-ten-football/nick-saban-apparently-a-big-fan-of-making-deez-nuts-jokes/
I just flipped it on and we already had this gem:
"this is the most out of conference early season losses for the sec that I can remember, at least for the teams that people think matter...Alabama, LSU, A&M..."
Holy fucking shit. I saw posts about this but missed the actual ad. Bad idea jeans.
Let's play a game where you take a shot for every minority featured in the ad. Sad, lonely shot. Just amazing.
Pete K is a dude.
I lived in Seattle for a while and had trouble squaring how UW fans felt about him and what we saw in year 1.
At this point I'm convinced we just had bad personnel and poor technical coaching for what he wanted to do. Rather than change it a lot in year one, he kept rolling with his system knowing we might have to take some lumps to get there faster. At this point that looks like the right call.
I've questioned Sark on a lot of things, but his faith in the defensive staff seemed unwavering and seems to reflect that he knows talent when he hires it and isn't shaken by early returns. "These guys didn't just forget how to coach" was essentially the answer after year one. Looks like they did not.
