That really is the case on the old site these days, and that bizarre fucker is still posting. There are entire game threads where it's just him, posting updates to himself, all game long. I'm not sure what kind of messed up you have to be to want to keep that shit going for months on end, but it's not normal.
Ok, so what happens if they blueshirt him, he doesn't play this season, and then between this and next season they decide they don't want him? Can they process him without having to use a number from 21, or does blueshirting him now require that they use a 21 scholarship on him?
I was going to say probably not after the way they shredded his defense this year, but let's be honest, no one they faced really had much success against that o save for maybe Auburn.
Here's how I see this playing out. Riley: Texas is a huge risk. That's an entirely new staff, and you really have no idea what their defense is going to look like. Collins: yes, but I do know what yours looks like. Riley:
Charlie, Muschamp, some more I can't currently think of as I'm half listening to a work call. Biggest red flag is selecting awful OC's. Look at Charlie and Muschamp. Their failure was ensured from the moment they hired their offensive staff.
Yeah. Jimbo's going to cut him loose, show him the consequences of his actions. You know who does that? Schools with actual options. Schools like Georgia. You know who comes running for the scraps when Georgia punishes guys like Evans for bad be behavior?...
And yet if they get him after he takes those OVs, the story spun will be that his heart was really always with Jimbo. That's just the power of the bond that Jimbo builds with the special people in his life. They may run around behind his back. In fact, they might do that so much that you begin to believe they're desperate to be with anyone but him. But in the end, that Jimbo bond just keeps them coming back.
I would bet this was Patterson, sounds like him. I also think our speed looks worse than it actually is when our playcalls are predictable and defenders are guessing where they're going on routes. I'm not saying our speed is elite, but lack of creativity in playcalling wasn't helping our cause. Hopefully that changes next year.
It's like we wanted to make the comfort hires look less like comfort hires, so we waited a long time to make them. In the meantime, we've made no traction on recruiting since we've had no coaches.
In case you hadn't heard, the elite of the elite in the coaching world have secretly been hiding out on our support staff or coaching at Rutgers just waiting on these Texas jobs to open. It's really quite genius how we've kept them hidden under the radar like this just so no other schools could snatch them up. Kind of reminds me of how when Herman was putting together his first staff, the elite of the elite coaches in America just so happened to be guys with him at Houston or who he'd coached with in the past. Mensa indeed, always having the very best guys available be guys close by who you happen to know very well.
In fairness, our previous coaches were busy being fired and our new coaches have been busy not being hired, so things have been a bit busy and some offers might have slipped through the cracks.
