“I never believed for a second I was being bullied,”
This really cannot be stated enough. I have seen it happen to friends and even brushed up against it for a second or two before I got the fuck out that place sooner than is typically "professionally accepted." I don't know a damn thing about Martin or who he is today but that voicemail really speaks for itself no matter what he wants to say now

Texas Recruiting Notes 2025: Duck Around and Find Out
I definitely follow your point but it's still kind of surprising to see MIT behind Wheeling. Usually, high achievement schools like that will do whatever it takes to get kids graduated because grad rate counts towards their US New & World Report ranking. I knew someone who failed out of Duke twice and they took him back both times - and even after he was let back in the second time, he technically violated the terms of his academic probation by not maintaining a 2.5 and they just let it slide

Looks like whoever said it likely wasn't a first offense was probably correct. He was arrested in July of last year for what I assume is the attempted murder charge and May of 2022 on a strangulation charge. And those are just the times he got caught. I hope his new wife gets the fuck out before he's released

2025 Transfer DT Hero Kanu
Dude looks fast for such a large man Also, why the fuck is Ryan Day blasting Coldplay and Katy Perry? Fucking loser

2025 Transfer DL Travis Shaw
Found some more footage of him in UNC's 2023 spring game. Not a lot you can really read into here except that he's large, he's very fluid, he's highly athletic, and he didn't always understand football player at that point in time. If Kenny Baker can develop this kid and Kanu into players, we should sign him to a lifetime contract - whatever the cost. On the other hand, it's a spring game, so who knows?

The hype we're going to get going into next season is going to break them (even more, I mean) and if we live up to it, they're gonna go full Guyana Punch/Heaven's Gate

I really liked the stiff arm at about 0:47. That poor DB got sent flying backwards about 5 yards

They really have. The context in which the "nerd and the prom queen" remark was made is pretty clear - and he was even nice enough to explain to them again on Twitter. The real reason why they're so upset is because, deep down, it's true and they know it. Even if Hart had meant it "that" context. It's true, they know it's true, and everyone who deals with them knows it's true.

$2.1 million minus 40% for attorney's fees comes out to $1,260,000 total or $105,000 per family. That's just... Wow

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
It's a highlight reel, I'm certainly no scout, and I obviously don't know shit. But his HUDL looks a little stiff at times to me: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18354729/6748f738242cc67520747253 Still, though, if the staff likes him, he's obviously very big and very strong - and I love his work on special teams. So I hope he proves me totally wrong
-
2025 Transfer DL Travis Shaw
The best two "highlight" films I could find of him were from HS (hate to link anything from Rivals but it is what it is). Not surprisingly, I couldn't find much from UNC. The second video is almost more of a hype video - but it still has a lot of highlights. In any case, I can see why he had the lofty ranking. He is... LARGE. And fast. If Sark/Baker can maximize Shaw's talent and Shaw and the SC/nutrition staff can keep his weight under control, I think he'll be a very nice addition for us

Thank you Quinn
I will always remember Quinn diving head first into TWO Ohio State linebackers while trying to get a first down. It still blows my mind that people questioned his toughness. I hope he tears it up in the NFL and makes all of his doubters eat shit

Texas 2025 Roster
I've read that the current plan is to line him up all over the place, including RB. A guy that big and strong who can catch like a WR could be a really interesting weapon out of the backfield.

Transfer Cycle 2024-2025 - Stop Being Poor
I also remember seeing a lot of Alex January in the first quarter, which was surprising. If they like him enough to play him in that game, maybe that explains why they haven't gone hard after another DT (yet). Bond won't come back but he should. He wasn't the same player after the ankle injury. Before the OU game, he was considered a first rounder. I can't imagine that he still is and one more solid season would really help his draft stock - especially if he's using his speed to get open and catch long passes from Arch. I feel Cam Williams could also really benefit from one more college season. But he's got that first round grade so he pretty much has to go. Would love to get Golden back as well but I can't imagine that happens either.
