I believe the ammo manufacturers are blowing and going as strong as they can with whatever components/raw materials they are able to get. The market is wide open right now for what ever the mfr's can make. Doesn't matter, steel shotgun shells, 22lr, 30-06, 6.5 manbun. Whatever it is, it gets sold immediately. Except for 350 Legend. WhoTF has a gun in that caliber?
Yeah. There’s an extra zero in there. Pre pandemic might even be 2-3 cents lower. For factory round I used to buy a ton of Winchester white box 100 packs at $26 for 9mm and $32-34 for 40. That was my go by for reloading or not but for a while ai was shooting 500-750 rnds/ month and I could spend a few nights on the press and punch out a bunch of rounds.
Pre pandemic pricing when supplies were good Brass - free range scrounge Berry’s Plated 124gr RN -.09 Powder - .035 Primer - .03 Probably more like this now Bullet - .012 Powder - .04 Primer - .08
You don’t need a license to fish in a state park. You might check into those trout stockings that TPWD does. Maybe there is one in your area, don’t know if you need a license.
Chemistry, huh? That YouTube channel has some videos early on about their solar system. Batteries located in a vented, insulated box outside and inverter/charger inside. If you aren’t running a well pump, you would have very little power needs.
600w of solar panels, 300ah @ 24V of battery and a 2kw inverter/charger would probably take care of almost all of his power needs. Still need to use a small generator when the panels snow/ice up but would be ok during most of the summer. What do you do for water moose? Do you have a well or collect from a spring or public source?
I've been watching a youtube channel of a young couple who live off grid in AK near Willow. They pretty much grow all their food and hunt and fish for their protein. Amazing that they can keep raising chickens in that kind of weather.

I just bought a 60cc saw that will pull a ripping chain on a 24" bar to do this. First go will be putting up some walls on an outhouse then we will go from there on some deer blinds.
As for blind window, a buddy of mine did this. He built a couple of hexagon shaped blinds that he covered with left over roofing tin. For the window, he just made small window screen frames and used black plastic screen material. With the shadows cast by the shades and the black screen you can't see in at all. Only thing that matters is scent control.
He put the blind right on his food plot and just shoots through the screen material to make a shot but then again he is shooting a recurve instinctively and doesn't shoot over about 15 yards.
Got the trailer in the driveway loading up ready to head out to our place in a couple of hours. Replaced the power inlet last night after sourcing one here in town. I had ordered a replacement 50A inlet from etrailer after our last trip but didnt look at the box until last night and they shipped me a 30a inlet instead of the 50a. I guess I’ll have a spare after they ship me the correct one. Any one else taking advantage of the long weekend?
Oh yeah! You gotta tell us more about this. I watched video a while back of a family who took a pilot house boat like that from Seattle/Vancouver up to Glacier Bay and back. Looked like a fantastic trip. I did a quick search and they were on an Ocean Sport Roamer. Great looking and functional boats for fishing and that type of cruising.
Ruger just started shipped Marlin firearms again. Vista Outdoors has the Remington ammo lines up and producing ammo (gotta have those Core-Lokts) and RemArms is getting its shit together to start producing Remington firearms again.
