Shared Calendar App?
Bingo. If it ain't on the calendar, it doesn't exist. I've gotten my wife trained so well on it that if I happen to forget something, I'm screwed. We used google calendar and have 3-4 color coated calendar for each of us, daughter, etc.

Bored at work? How about a live brain surgery?
Surprised this topic made it here. Glad to see my profession got a little bit of love (guy showing the words to the patient), even if it is a shitty competitor. I trained with Dr. Patel many years ago, great surgeon. I'm not too familiar with his colleagues performing the procedure but it appears they did a good job. I was surprised they actually broadcast the procedure until I saw that it was a venous malformation that appeared to be somewhat superficial. Overall, a pretty "low risk" brain surgery

Plant-based Diet Questions
I'm not cutting meat out completely but am cutting back. I've had some heart issues at age 34, so it's a bit of a wakeup call for me to quit eating fast food, steaks, burgers, fried food, etc all the damn time. I'd call my approach "lazy vegetarian" as I'm still mixing in some meat when appropriate and not utilizing tempeh or tofu. Some really good meals that I've made lately, veggie baked ziti (recipes and boobz to follow), pinto bean pozole (really good with a smoked hock floating then removed), 3 bean "chili". Also, I would recommend the cookbook "Eat Like You Give a Fuck". It's got some pretty good recipes in there

So I got a WSM...
I bought a whole brisket and split the 2 muscles. Flat was cut up for chili and I've frozen the point for burnt ends

Someone is writing racist shit on my property
I, too, am white with an Asian wife. I'd lose my fucking shit. What city/town? I would get cameras and file police reports. Start questioning neighbors to see if they saw anything and just gauge their overall demeanor. And gtfo that shithole

Student Loan Refi
I guess another question is whether or not it takes a few days/weeks for the rate decrease to trickle down to the lenders?

All Encompassing Whatcha Smoking With
This is actually the smoker I'm looking at buying. Pricey, but I dig being able to throw something on, go to work and monitor from my phone. As far as babysitting with beer, I'll never tell my wife that it's easier.

Warts (not that kind)
Mid treatment right now for a mosaic wart that I've had for years and just go annoyed enough recently to remove it. This has been maybe 2 weeks. Doesn't hurt other than the initial dull stinging when applying the ointment on the raw pink skin. It's not very slightly for the face, but I originally used it for one on my finger.

Cord Cutters Thread
PSVue seems to have gone down hill over the past year. I have it on every TV (via Fire stick or the like). My main TV and only the main has been buggy as hell with Vue. I'll start it up, go to the guide and after a few second, the guide disappears. It's a frustrating game of going back and forth to get the guide back and select programming. I've tried removing and reinstalling vue with no improvement. Anyone else had this issue? It's only on this one TV that where it's a major problem.

Need input/experiences with having a covered patio built
Not sure if y'all saw, but the picture of the backyard in the text is mine. It already has the stamped concrete in place, so my assumption is that they would built on top of that (i.e. no slab needed, right?). Will they need to demo my current roof where they tie in? Or do they just mount it directly on top? Regarding plans, is this something I need to provide to someone or is this something that the contractor usually provides? If the former, how would I go about developing (other than looking at pinterest)?

Doctor Death Podcast
I did 2 of his cases. The first went "fine" although he made abnormal requests. I say fine in that there was nothing neurologically wrong by the end of the procedure, but my scope of care ends there. I do not follow patient postoperatively. The 2nd case I did with him a patient died. We fired him as a client after that.

Tell me about Lake Houses (Granbury)
Terrible recreational lake so I'm told. Friend had a lake house out there that they're just about to sell. They complain that there are trees submerged all over the lake so it's dangerous to ski and whatnot
