  1. Bray Lynch’s instagram post: Notice the background?
  2. Bobby: Michigan all-conference offensive lineman Andrew Sprague has entered the transfer portal. Sprague entered with a no-contact tag. Texas is expected to be a real player in this recruitment.
  3. Bobby on Cam Coleman: I like Texas’ chances here. The competitive and high-dollar recruitment of Coleman should tell Texas fans all they need to know about how Steve Sarkisian and GM Brandon Harris are approaching this portal period. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times in the last two months. Texas is all-in in 2026.

  5. Gerry: Couple of college coaches (ACC and SEC - not Texas) and their agents think Baugh hits portal. That is not an OTF report, to be clear. Just passing along chatter in the industry.,
  6. Gerry also chiming in on Malaki Lee: OnTexasFootball spoke with a source close to the recruitment of 4-star++ OT and Michigan signee Malakai Lee (Honolulu, Hi./Kamehameha). OTF believes Lee is around 75% or higher probability he will ask for his release from his LOI. Even though Michigan will be hiring a new staff, it's still unlikely he will stick with the Wolverines according to the source. OTF also believes Texas would be the most likely destination for Lee, barring a significant change. OTF will continue to monitor Lee's ultimate decision.
  7. Bobby: I’m told Stanford transfer wide receiver Emmett Mosley V is “expected” back prior to conference play. No further info or timeline was provided, so it could be even sooner than that. The Texas receiver room, while talented, is relatively thin. The addition of Mosley, who had 48 receptions a year ago, would be welcome. Freshman safety Jonah Williams is also expected to return to action relatively soon. Be that this week or in the coming weeks, the injury is not one that should sideline him much longer.
  8. CJ Vogel: On Monday, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian was pretty blunt with his assertion that he expects LT Trevor Goosby back on the field for the Ohio State game on Saturday. Goosby was a full-participant Tuesday morning as the Longhorns continued their game prep for Ohio State. Texas continues to rotate some bodies around on the offensive line to create the optimal five, but things are trending positively for Goosby to be as close to full-strength as possible come kickoff in Columbus.
