Definitely suffers from Uncle Rico disease, imho. And I should know, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Got to go to this game and sit in the club level. The game itself was not much but the experience in that level of Amon Carter stadium made me glad we went. The food offerings by John Bonnell and others were amazing. The talent factor was somewhere betwen 7-8 with an occasional 10. The sight lines and view of the game make this place fun to attend games, but the same loudspeaker ads and noise from the scoreboard as is found in Austin is a BEATING.
  3. Bohemian Rhapsody Thanksgiving night and Green Book on Friday. Would see both again as they were greatness.

The Preston Group in Dallas is one I have attended and can recommend. Lots of long term sobriety in their meetings which are solution centered. I messaged you my # and would welcome a call if you need to talk to someone.

Can you tell us how you really feel?🤣 Those entitled little bitches have nothing to be looking down their noses at, especially a crosstown rival. FUSC as my daughter in law texted last night after the game ended.

Already on my schedule-going to have son and Bruin daughter in law from NorCal come down. Already looking forward to tailgating with the Bruin faithful and seeing the Rose Bowl for the first time in person.
  7. Just GET SOME POINTSSSSSS
  8. Craig Way on the stream FTW

Couldn't have happened to a nicer group in Waco. Hope they do not see another bowl game forever.
  10. Stop them on first drive/score on our first drive. Yes, more please.

Broke the CONDOMS!! Kept them from bowl eligibility. Westwood will be burning tonight. My Bruin daughter in law is doing the happy dance after having a three win season because of this win.

Thanks for reminding me-that memory was almost erased. But then again, at 66 yrs of age, it along with many others will be gone again soon.😎

Hope the West Virginia players feel the pain of this loss. Great ending for OSU and has given Texas a chance at redemption.

All the time they need to score with <10 seconds left on the clock.
  15. Kenneth Copeland for one-bought Tyler Perry's Gulfstream V. Fleecing the flock is quite lucrative and Jeebus wants his representative flying first class instead of a Piper Cub. https://www.newsweek.com/kenneth-copeland-televangelist-jet-plane-healing-corrosion-1067897
  16. After making the catch, LJH calmly tossed the ball to the official and walked down the sideline to the bench in old school fashion. No taunting, no overt celebration, no look at me what I just did, just an easy stroll to rejoin his team. Somewhere I just know Earl Campbell, DKR, the entire defense and the rest of the Longhorn nation were all smiling at that effort as I was. Act like you've been there applied last night-it was refreshing.
  17. My wife works with Robbie's wife. Will update when she talks to her.
  18. Similar to Flying Fish menu wise. Catfish is pretty tasty along with the gumbo. Cheese grits disappointed.
  19. We stayed at the Wynn but I avoided playing there. Instead, played at Four Queens and echo your sentiment regarding being ruined by the dice. Had a good evening on Saturday playing the pass line and ended up leaving Sunday +$28-nothing to gloat about, but having only played craps twice, it felt pretty good to take some of their money instead of leaving some of mine. Went to El Cortez on Sunday and broke smooth ass even in an hour of play. Looking forward to December and returning to the song of the siren that is the craps tables.
  20. Just returned from Bass Hall Ft. Worth where Dwight Yoakam played a show benefitting the UNT Health Science Center. His Bakersfield country was as on point as always featuring tributes to Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, and Ferlin Husky. Always enjoyed his catalog and hearing A Thousand Miles from Nowhere still reminds me of how great country music can sound when performed by a great performer. Having seen him at Billy Bob's on a number of occasions, it was refreshing to hear that nasal twang voice echoing off the ceiling of the Bass, dubbed the Carnegie Hall of Texas by Yoakam. His backing musicians were outstanding as well and the 90 minutes with one two song encore gave all who attended their money's worth.

The Harbor Club in Ft Worth is having it's annual Celebration of Sobriety gathering this weekend in Ft Worth. Great speakers, amazing food, and raffles are all a part of this annual gathering that brings groups from all over DFW together. I attend the 7am meeting here M-F and have enjoyed the past twenty years without a drink. If you are in the area, check it out. http://harborclubfw.org/

Enjoy the moment. The best part of being sober is being able to remember the memorable life moments such as this one. Congratulations.
  23. Lost a brother in law to cancer in May last year. Now his widow was diagnosed in April with a tumor on her tongue that caused half of her tongue to be removed and rebuilt. Found out yesterday she has an inoperable tumor behind her right eye and it is the most aggressive form of this disease. Man, just wish that a cure for this life destroying disease could be found.
  24. Second. Excellent customer service and repairs.
