  1. We aren't going to make a deep run with Quinn. Arch is not going to start or otherwise supplant Ewers. To the extent that there are two sides on this thread, both sides should come to terms with both of those things.
  2. Quinn is good, but not good enough. For me, that is how I will remember him.
  3. Thanks. Makes sense that it would be available but had no idea where to look. That 2nd half line is garbage. Granted we’ve had some games that were already decided by the half, but the drop in efficiency across every measurable QB KPI is startling.
  4. Just so the actual data is represented somewhere amongst all the feces being thrown about: 1st half: 11-17, 142 yards, and 1 TD 2nd half: 6-11, 76 yards, 1 lost fumble, and 1 INT (returned for a TD) We can beat any team in the country with him playing the way he did in the first half. Second half Quinn can lose to almost anyone. I’d be super interested to see his full year stats broken down by first half vs. second half.
  5. Please show us a few more pics of you paying Quinn to take pictures with you. It’s super relevant to the debate.
  6. Imagine coming here tonight and trying to have a balanced conversation about a QB that had a very up and down game. LMAO.
  7. I know you’re a bitch when that’s the best retort you can muster. Way to be an internet tough guy.
  8. I’m sorry, but is your position that our turn around as a program is only due to Quinn? Because that would be the dumbest fucking take on a thread full of the dumbest takes around. Our program is where it’s at because of the 85 guys and 11 coaches that have turned the tide. You’re a fucking idiot if you think otherwise. Quinn is one cog in the engine, but he’s sure as shit not THE reason for our recent prosperity.
  9. When you say it like (outside of 2 plays) it seems like no big deal. But those two plays represented a 13 point swing in what ended up being a 10 point game. So you can’t just say it that way without sounding dismissive and unintelligent. If he just takes a knee on those plays we win 23-0. They stayed in the game until deep in the 4th explicitly because of Quinn’s two errors.
  10. Hilson will do whatever he does, but if he picks A&M it won’t be because he’s been given reason to believe he’ll be developed more there. If he makes the wrong choice that tells me a ton about him.
  11. The pick 6 was not on Wingo. He needed to eat that ball. Plain and simple. 100% on Quinn and nobody else.
  12. You know we haven’t won’t the conference championship yet, right? I know you and Quinn are BFF’s because you have money to light on fire, but that doesn’t mean we get to crown ourselves.
  13. You don’t get to just hand waive away two back breaking turnovers inside the red zone. Especially when one of them went to the house. You don’t. That was not a good game. Period.
  14. Two terrible plays that would have cost most teams the game. But most teams don’t have our D. That said, even though I continue to think Quinn is a liability, I’m not going to take away his first half performance. That crowd was out for blood and he never seemed phased by it. A deeply inconsistent and flawed performance by a deeply inconsistent and flawed player.
  15. Quinn needed something in this 2nd half that redeemed those errors but it doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. In many ways this was a classic Quinn performance. There were some scintillating plays early, and then he seemed to do everything he could possibly do to keep the other team in it in the 2nd half. He remains a guy that we can win any game with, but it sure doesn’t look like he’ll ever be THE reason for our success.
  16. In that situation it sure looked like Bond missed a check to a different route. Had Bond run a stick that’s an easy first down.
  17. I’m more in the Arch camp than the Quinn camp, but that’s unfair. He was absolutely nails up until the pick. You have to give him credit for the good.
  18. This underscores how fucking hard it is to be a QB. Quinn’s played at such a high level tonight but two singular plays have the chance to overshadow all of it. And both of those mistakes rest squarely on his shoulders. I really want to see him pull through here. As much for him as for us.
  19. Quinn is the reason we’re in the game AND the reason aggy is in the game. Tough feat to pull off.
  20. Brutal end to what was a good series. Game should be over.
  21. He was playing the perfect game. And then that happened. He needs to forget that shit.

I think everyone is wondering that. Odds are good that we will need a big kick at some point this year. If that kick is from beyond 40, I’m not confident that Bert is gonna come through.
  23. Helluva drive by Quinn. That pass to Helm scared the shit out of me, but the pass to Golden and the pass to Blue were pinpoint.
  24. Best one since the pass that hit Moore in the face mask against Florida would be more accurate.
