  1. Why is this injury so hush hush? Obviously, you don't have the answer to it, but it makes me think it's not something standard. Otherwise, why don't wee know what it is?
  2. While I appreciate much of your take, your love and resilience for your team, and do agree that small sample sizes and variability certainly apply to college sport outcomes, you have to see the cracks in the DeBoer foundation right now at Alabama.
  3. Thursday - Nearing the end: Bobby
  4. Huh, that's a new one. I guess they figure B1G fans just love watching volleyball, which is true, but I've never seen two teams outside of a conference televised on that conference's network.
  5. Texas Hoops: Two 5-star OV's; team looking impressive (7:52am CST) - Gerry
  6. Yep, despite everything OSU did well, and Arch's struggles, Texas still could have won it. A CFP matchup may go our way, but Texas needs to get there first.
  7. Any ranked FBS team should be able to throw for nearly 400 yards against an FCS school that went 10-4 the previous year. To @closetojumping's joy (and prediction), Kanak (their savior at TE) lost a fumble, Barnes ran for nine yards on seven carries, and Ott had one carry and lost three yards. What a good allocation of funds that was lol.
  8. @Js1 or others just as informed. I haven't been able to watch either match thus far, but obviously they went well. Are y'all able to give a rundown on the biggest differences in terms of offensive/defensive strategy, or anything else notable, so far this season vs. last? I don't really have a volleyball background, but really trying to learn more.
  9. Agreed with what you posted. 1. Arch definitely needs to get some more in-game reps with putting touch on his passes and not locking on his front leg because every pass is a 100% rocket. 2. I was very happy with the OL, especially Stroh. Definitely could be a strength were there was concern heading into the season. 3. Please put Littleton back there after he gets more practice reps. He was a great return man in HS. 4. Yep. Let Baxter heal and protect Wisner for later in the season.
  10. Down a Rabbit Hole | Opening Drive Results + Ball 1st or 2nd? - Vogel
  11. Mini Update on Derrek Cooper (Tues. 6:35am CST) - Gerry
  12. I know this has probably already been posted in multiple threads, but I avoided the boards all weekend/Monday. This was such an enlightening breakdown of Arch's mechanical issues, Sark's struggles, how Patricia disguised coverage, and just how good (Downs is definitely the best defensive player in CFB) so many of the OSU defenders are. They were excellently prepared and knew what we were doing so much of the time. Also touches on how vanilla we were.
  13. Sunday - Bobby Monday - Still Working: Bobby
  14. Is that a reference to Doug McDermott; or did I miss something pertaining to volleyball?
  15. Said no one ever. Fuck all that.
  16. What did he say he’d do if Jaggerstone had the first TD of the season? Haha
  17. Yep. Needed to be out to the sideline for Wingo to work back and out to, or up the sideline. He put it in the easiest spot for the DB.
  18. Well, according to Sydney, you’ll have to punch him in the dick. Or,
  19. Yeah, It'd be really nice to start to close the gap on the Blue Jays. Boston has these 3-game series upcoming: Pittsburgh (59-75) Cleveland (66-66) @Arizona (65-69) @A's (63-72) Over the same stretch, Toronto has: Milwaukee (83-51) @Cincinnati (68-66) @Yankees (73-60) Houston (73-60) If the Sox aren't closer to the division title after that stretch, it's either: their own fault, or they just aren't likely to catch them.
  20. Huge sweep and 7-1 on the road trip. Peaking at the absolute best time (for the regular season, at least).
