Is this still taught in driving school or nah? Is driving school even required anymore? I can't take any more of these drivers on the road. Trying to explain this to them while in motion behind the glass is near impossible.- comedy is in a weird place right now
Same thing with a lot of the musicians/bands that you love I bet. Young and hungry is when the best material comes out that regular people can relate to. Once success comes I think its hard for them to write and feel like a common man anymore.- 2025-26 CFP General Discussion
Not sure if it was posted upthread but next years final game is a week later than this year on Jan. 25. Just crazy, 7 weeks after Conf. Championship games.- Birding

I too was never a Dead fan but this is incredible. Major props to Sturg and Mayer.- Life and Death of a Salesman
I’ve beed using Netsuite since about 2008 as a Controller for a handful of different companies. Yes, there is a sanbox environment if the company pays for it which most do. What else would you like to know. It used to be a wonderful product (developed by heavy hitters that left Oracle back in the early 2000. Kicked ass and started taking a pretty good market share and Oracle buys them out and has totally Oracleized the service but still remains a pretty good product in my eyes. Are you looking to stay on the Accounting side or looking into getting into Netsuite sales? I considered it a couple times in my career but never had the guts to take the leap to a commission based income.- Marble Falls
My mom lives in Meadowlakes and has for the last 20+ years. Nice little neighborhood. Let me know if he would like to buy our used wave runner. Its perfect for the little ramp and dock they have down at the Lakeside Park. We spent many a Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends down on that dock with the kids.- 2025/2026 Hunting Thread
Was guest at a ranch a little north of Rocksprings for New Years. They have been carefully managing 400 or so acres for the last 10 years or so. Still have to rely on neighbors to do the same but it has been working out decently so far. All of these pics are from the front porch of the small ranch house. Was awesome to just sit on the porch drinking beer and not worrying about spooking anything. The real good ones might show for a minute or two to have a bite of corn but the others you couldn’t run off with a bull horn. IMG_4757.mov- Fishing Megathread: Looking For Big Girls Who swallow
Love when the cold fronts bring the reds into the canals. Love fighting them on light spinning tackle. Released for another day.- 2025 paid Surly FF League - It's happening. Draft tonight at 10:30 ET/9:30 CT
email approved. I'd like to say it was fun but this season sucked!- New Orleans Food and Drink Thread
Found Grande Isle by accident (caddy corner from Ernst Cafe and across from Manning's) this past weekend. We wandered by for a quick bite for lunch and the bartender recommended coming back for HH from 4-6p if we like oysters. $1 a piece, raw or grilled. Grilled were just as good if not better than Dragos without the crazy crowd. Another HH item was the shrimp boil for $6 - basically a $1 a piece as well since they were jumbos. Nothing fancy but some damn good! Will be back.- Your cat is awesome. Damn straight
Flounder FINALLY exploring the boat by himself. It took 10 months but he’s finally getting more brave around the water. Need him to keep the herons and grackles from shitting all over everything.- 2026 Surly 10,000 Pushup Challenge
I'm down for the pushups and squats.- Mexican Navy Plane Crash In/Near Galveston
Sky Decker, a professional yacht captain who lives about a mile from the crash site, said he jumped in his boat to see if he could help. He said he picked up two police officers who directed him through thick fog to a nearly completely submerged plane. Decker jumped in the water and found a badly injured woman trapped beneath chairs and other debris. 'I couldn't believe. She had maybe three inches of air gap to breathe in,' he said. 'And there was jet fuel in there mixed with the water, fumes real bad. She was really fighting for her life.' He said he also pulled out a man sitting in front of her who had already died. He described both of them as being dressed in civilian clothes. Mexico's Marines said in a statement that it is sending 'its deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragic accident.' Preliminary data shows the aircraft disappeared from radar over the bay around 3:02pm with the first 911 call placed at 3:07pm.- Mexican Navy Plane Crash In/Near Galveston
Gives a great perspective of the fog.- Mexican Navy Plane Crash In/Near Galveston
I made a quick drive over the causeway this morning. Couldn't see any wreckage or debris but there was what looked to be a couple of boats doing search patterns.- Mexican Navy Plane Crash In/Near Galveston
Not hearing a lot of details but of they clipped the Causeway on approach it had to be due to the heavy fog. Has been bad the last two days and really never lifted all day today. - 2026 Golf Junkies Thread: This Year's Swing Change is the One
