Would rather see Tool than Metallica at Sphere. Tool was the originator of the visual concert experience and it seems like the Sphere would just be phenomenal but you never know if MJK would be for it or against it.
Even if you don't send out the league invites until later today can you please post the official league settings so we can see scoring and roster requirements?
I’m good. If the draft stays in that spot, you’ll have to bear with me as I have bowling league at that time so I may need a couple of time extensions if timing gets a little wonky.
For not great but decent seafood and stuff, Dorados is on the Intercoastal and is an entertaining getaway. Restaurant upstairs and dive bar on the water downstairs.
From the Eyewall:
Invest 98L is going to track almost straight northwest over the next 24 to 30 hours. This should come ashore in Texas by Friday evening. Any development will be lower-end and rather disjointed. In other words, we could see a sloppy tropical depression come out of this, but we probably won't see a named storm.
Jersey Mikes is better. Howevah….I love a JJ’s because it reminds me of my own homemade sammich in high school of one $.99 loaf of Gerland’s (grocery store) fresh french bread and add ham and cheese. That fresh french bread was so damn awesome and JJ is the closest thing to that. One time I saw them actually gouging out the center of the bread before making the sandwich and I said “hold up, put that bread back in there”.
Childs play.
Me and a buddy would sneak into the "employee room" when the teenager employees were busy playing grab ass with each other at the Games People Play on 1960 in Houston . They kept all the loose tokens in a 55 gallon trash can. It must have been like walking into Fort Knox for an adult. We would load up as much as we could hold. At first we would just hang out at the change machine and sell other kids 5 tokens for a dollar. Realized that was just too small time. Next step was taking as many tokens home as we could and rolled them up in the old school quarter coin wraps and took them to the customer service booth at Gerlands and walked out with cold hard cash. Not long after, Gerlands somehow went to the clear plastic coin wraps for some odd reason. I like to think I am the one person in the world who caused the banking industry to make that change.
I love their briquets for simple grilling. Cheaper and burns way better than all the rest. Been harder and harder to find though. I usually only find it in Academy of all places.
Does it bother anyone else that the cartoonist had to put the other eye on the whale hanging in midair/midwater like we wouldn't be able to understand that the other eye wouldn't be visible from that angle? I don't remember, did Larson do that with his animals?
“Unreachable” my ass! Damn Cam Young air mails the green with a 3 wood 278 yards out and can’t get up and down for the playoff.
But I’m not bitter or anything!
