That isn’t a controversial take, but it also isn’t what you originally said.
I can buy that there is more variance in potential outcomes for any given player compared to the old days (which I think is the point you are trying to make), but the overall talent level will continue to be pretty great this year notwithstanding.
lol, I’d say that’s a decent range. I get most of my dress shirts and summer shirts bespoke at a local shirt maker in nyc, and even those are usually in the $300-$350 range. Worth every penny.
This will either be phenomenal or a catastrophe, but either way I’ll be there on opening night and will always cheer a big swing by a director that isn’t recycled IP.
There were always dissenting voices, and those voices grew in numbers towards the end, but they were almost always met with pages of dog piling and copium. It‘s not really worth debating, the threads are still there for people to read.
In any event, I personally still wish Davis were here. Here’s to hoping that Kenny Baker turns out to be a great find.
Well those posts from you were less than 2 years ago, but sure. And I disagree that he did well in 2022.
Sure, if you want some 2024 quotes in 2 minutes, happy to help. But I do agree that the recruiting group think started to fade a bit after the 2024 class began to take shape. By then the group had reframed the narrative to him not needing 5 stars because he was such a great developer of talent (which to be fair to the group, maybe true).
lol. That was absolutely not the consensus on this board 12 months ago. The consensus was that Bo was knocking it out of the park with underrated gems like Sydir Mitchell, Jaray Bledsoe, Aaron Bryant, Kris Ross and others, and that any gnashing of teeth about our future DT depth chart was nothing but histrionics. It's fine, it's what fans of college football recruiting do.
I think the Ws are washed (other than Steph obviously). They'll probably wind up with the 8 seed, but I expect them to be a fairly easy out for OKC (6 games at most) if that's the matchup.
