Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers :: 2022 Wildcard Round :: 230116.1915c ABC
Lulz. Tampa offense doing it's best to replicate Dallas' performance from last week.

Fuck it. Keep trotting him out there for XPs. Let him continue to shit himself on national television.

And now the obligatory 1-yard rush from Zeke.

If Mike White were still with the team, it would be 28-0 because his aura of awesomeness would have rubbed off on Maher and helped him make the XPs and they've have scored another TD somewhere.

$660k was the lowest salary this year. Average salary is apparently $2.5 million. Not a bad idea...assuming he can kick.

Hat trick. No more kicks this game.

Straight down the center...on the kickoff. Fuck you Maher.

It's a miracle.

Miami maybe? Depending on how much confidence they have in Tua not being a walking concussion going forward.

Sure. Dallas wins but Jerry is still alive.

NFL Playoffs
Fluke 14-point swing and a few inches from potentially winning the game on a 2-point conversion as time expired with a banged-up Huntley as qb. Not paying Lamar ludicrous money under those circumstances. They've won nothing even when he's firing on all cylinders. Can't count on him to stay healthy either with his style. Let someone else overpay.

NFL Playoffs
They spent $74 million on Alex Cappa, Ted Karras, and La'el Collins last off season. It's not like they didn't throw lots of money at the problem.

NFL Playoffs
John was lucky to get to coaching in the pros quicker and stay there. Jim's spent too much time in league where Urban Meyer's bullshit works for the most part.

Is this going to be the Ravens/Flacco contract debacle all over again?

NFL Playoffs
We'll see about next year. Didn't really see much drop off in production with Perine in the lead role when Mixon missed a few games with a concussion, and Perine seems to be better at picking up the rush.

NFL Playoffs
No. Giants are the 6-seed. Dallas - Tampa winner is going against the Niners.
-
NFL Playoffs
3-yards short of the sticks on the route...even Greg Davis laughs at that.
-
NFL Playoffs
Given the recent playoff history, I'll gladly take not shitting the bed against TB and then roll the dice against the Niners knowing the odds aren't good.

Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Commanders Week 18
They're intentionally lowering expectations for next week. After playing like this, if they beat Tampa it's an amazing turnaround. Jerry and Mike are geniuses.

Brazil going nuts
Crowd of violent insurrectionists, one cop on horseback arrives to try and contain them. 99% sure we all know how that was going to end.
-
NFL Week 18
Miami might as well forfeit next week if they don't bring back Tua to risk another concussion. The rest of their qbs can't do shit on offense even with Hill and Waddle at WR.

the 2023 speaker of the house voting thread of implosion
Some, or all of the bargains? Didn't he agree that any member of the house can call for a motion to vacate the speaker's chair? Very little effort needed to make his life miserable if he doesn't follow through on everything like committee nominees.

the 2023 speaker of the house voting thread of implosion
Boo. Which 2 Dems didn't bother to vote? Motion to adjourn won by...2 votes.

NFL week 17 / Bills DB Damar Hamlin seriously injured, taken away via ambulance- MNF game suspended
Genuinely curious, why would this be the breaking point? Pretty clear it's a freak occurrence. On the other hand, we've had plenty of proof for years that former football players (not just those who make it to the NFL) run plenty of risks for severe brain damage and other health issues...no one cares aside from changing some rules, supposedly hiring more independent doctors that the coaches listen to, and getting better helmets.

Pittsburgh was running Harris into the ground last year and earlier this year. Hopefully they keep Warren or someone else getting 8-10+ touches a game to help keep Harris healthy/give him a breather. It's taken Dallas way too long to figure that out with Pollard/Elliott.
