  1. They’re probably deep into shooting, but I hope Ira Parker is giving notes to Ryan Condal. I think House of the Dragon was dead on arrival after changing Blood and Cheese, but I’ll happily take a respectable Season 3.
  2. We really Looney is start raising hell about not playing in NOLA. He could help this team, and there’s no way in hell the Pelicans pick up his second year. He’s gotta leave to have any prayer at a decent next contract. I assume we’re in the market for Cam Thomas?
  3. More of a cap guy, but yes I did forget about him.
  4. The only reliable hoops people left at ESPN are Legler, Shams, and Ramona Shelburne on Lakers stuff only. I believe somebody in their front office married that hog.
  5. Big Perk thinks Reed should start. Perk is not bright, but he’s not wrong and he’s not the only one suggesting this.
  6. Jesus Christ Windhorst. The Wolves sent dogshit to the Bulls for Ayo, but he inferred the Rockets made a mistake not trading Tari. Just take some time off man. I know he’s better than this.
  7. SGA is dressed like a Jenner. Cool. Cool.
  8. I’ll take 7-12 shooting from Reed every fucking day of the week.
  9. Tim McMahon sighting. I thought he spent every waking moment trying to blow Wemby. Good to see him off his knees.
  10. FVV looks fucking rotund. And he’s supposed to the savior. Just keep digging that hole Stone.
  11. A league wide observation, the shooter trying to steal it back after every miss is ruining basketball. It never works and it didn’t happen during the Golden Age of Hoops.
  12. Eason turnover, Caruso made three, Eason missed three feels like an 8 point swing.
  13. Bitch foul. Call it in the first quarter. Don’t call it in crunch time.
  14. The defense on the Wallace back cut was horrific, but mostly yes.
  15. I love all the regards in this thread that said we didn’t need a primary ball handler/somebody to bring the ball up. Not so easy is it folks?
  16. I am very sick right now, so let’s go with that, tears were streaming down my face during this scene. Feels like we’re back at Season 1 of GOT. I thank the Seven.
  17. I question DFS’ health. The Rockets should execute whomever conducted his physical. They’re not asking him to do shit. Play defense, bang inside, rebound, take out the garbage under the basket, and hit corner 3’s. Maybe he gets right next year, when we don’t need him nearly as bad.
  18. Kingdoms on BBC America rules. David Attenborough is the best.
  19. I’m pretty sure Patricio is from Houston, so he kind of blows up my theory that people from small towns don’t like The Wire. My Sopranos heads from college were from the Waco area, and they never got into The Wire back when the shows ran concurrently. What a glorious time.
  20. I’m also frustrated that absolutely none of our two way guys have worked out. There are many two guys playing significant minutes on good teams in the NBA. And the Rockets can’t hit on one. It feels Morey finds a couple every season.
  21. The Adams went through it in depth on the drive home yesterday . The Rockets rotation is down FVV, Adams, Jalen Green, and Brooks, and they replaced all of that with … KD. Went from one of the deepest teams in the NBA to the one of the shortest rotations in the league. I’d say their take was extremely sympathetic to Stone. More hard capped first apron excuse bullshit. Basically said the Rockets thought they needed 3 pieces not just 1, tried to make it happen, it didn’t work and they stood pat. They were critical of Stone hoarding picks, especially second round picks. My thoughts: I think Ambassador Titter has made it clear he doesn’t want to pay luxury taxes. And can you blame him? The Celtics basically had to sell the team and break up their core because of second apron pains. And the The Thunder just won a title under the first apron. I guess they didn’t think a pick for Ayo was worth a pick or picks for a 3 month rental. I think he was the available piece that could have saved the season. The Rockets at some point have to start drafting guys again. A lot of their rotational issue are because they haven’t drafted young guys to push older guys on vet minimum deals out. Denver is great example. Their young bench took their lumps last year, but it paid off this year. It did get their GM and a coach fired, so I’m sure Ime and Stone don’t want that to happen to them. They have 2 second round picks in 2026. The scouting department must hit those out of the park and draft 2 rotational players. I don’t understand the organization’s FVV Savior Complex. They drafted Green with the intention of him replacing FVV by this season, but now FVV is their only hope to contend this season and next? I think Brooks is regular season player. He’s going to shoot the Suns out of a series. But from Halloween to April, he’s a valuable player for toughness, consistent offense, and reliable defense. I’m fine with trading him, but replacing him with DFS just hasn’t worked.
  22. II’ll try to be nice here, but Jesus Christ get Windhorst on a meal plan and a personal trainer ESPN. The guy is built like The Penguin. When he gets up from the desk there’s a noticeable hunchback. He just looks miserable moving. I feel bad for the guy.
  23. Watching Graham Norton for the first time. Really interesting format. Liam Hemsworth gushing about Wedding Crashers and Halle Berry expressing her love for The Notebook to Rachel McAdams is pretty cool. Very brief monologue. No dumb ass bits. He just asks a very brief question and allows his guests to talk because they’re infinitely more interesting than he is. The American hosts could learn a lot from him. I guess Andy Cohen is the American equivalent, but he focuses on interviewing the Real Housewives.
