Tell Me About Texas a&m
Have any autists on here listed out what all contributors A&M is potentially losing? I know they're losing at least three starting OL, Howell, Lee, and are probably losing Concepcion. Who else?

Are people saying it’s Baugh or bust, or are they saying Baugh is the top target?

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - I'm With Stupid
So, if we're simply boxscore scouting, Baugh had a better yards per rush in a shittier offense against maybe the toughest schedule in the sport

You hope the better back is our #2 target behind the lesser back because local?

We should want to keep him for a reasonable price. Not sure if he's worth paying a premium for, and I wonder how high he'd actually get drafted this year- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - I'm With Stupid
I'm bearish on Endries' draft range, although I'm suppose it's iffy on how much he'd improve it by coming back. He's not a blocker, and he's also nothing special as a receiver to justify not being a blocker in the NFL- 2025 Texas Coaching/Support Staff Thread
This is the thing I'd always heard, although it wasn't in much detail. Struggled with assignments once we moved past early install offense and facing a vanilla base defense in practice. I assume he potentially quiet quit once fucking Stroh was moved ahead of him- Citrus Bowl 2025 Game Week Thread
If you're looking for something else (or in addition) to do other than Disney/Universal, Gatorland is a great change of pace. Not as expensive or a big a hassle as the others, and they have a variety of exotic animals and shit for kids to do The people I've recommended it generally come away with a remark along the lines of "that was surprisingly great, will go back"- Texas Roster 2026
If our TEs are good, we should be playing in 12 a lot, with plenty of playing time to go around. Endries doesn't block well enough to be the starting TE in a good rushing attack in 11 personnel in college, which means he has no shot at it in the NFL. But attached as the move TE in two TE sets could be an explosive offense. The staff should sell the TEs all playing a lot as a way to keep the young guys in the fold, and they shouldn't even necessarily be selling lies on this one. I've even wondered if we'd bring in a transfer in-line TE to add to that room. If we going to be serious about actually punishing teams in the run game, obviously OL and RB improvements are critical, but having at TE who can actually block and force defenses to match heavier personnel matters almost as much- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - I'm With Stupid
Why can't Townsend and Endries play together?- 2026 NFL Draft way too early thread of idiot mock drafts and discussion
Listening to the podcast on this, a couple of notes - weak top 12 or so, but the draft starts getting stronger relative to pick slot after those picks, especially if you're able to get Downs and Love outside the top ten - the strength at the top is edge rushing, but some teams like NYG probably can't draft that, and others will be looking at QB, so there might be value there - nobody is going to be looking to trade up except for 1-2 teams trading up for a QB (Cleveland) - The QBs are more good than great. Coleman fumbling against bama doesn’t automatically make him worse than a guy who dropped easy passes all season- Job hunting - A different kind of happy ending
Sorry to hear about that- Job hunting - A different kind of happy ending
Whiffed on a bunch of roles recently. Including a case study presentation interview I spent a ton of time on. Not great Bob. Starting to look at relocation roles in earnest. Once again, if anyone has connections in upstream O&G that'd help get my foot in the door, it'd be very much appreciated.- Halloween/Horror Movie Thread

You've missed VHS in general, or just this latest one? If you haven't seen any of them, I'd watch the first two. The first two have a high hit rate, like the first couple of seasons of Black Mirror, and then it really fell off a cliff, although apparently last year's was solid (which I guess I missed) For VHS Halloween, I'd just watch the whole thing. None of the shorts sucked, and I thought there was a good rhythm to the mix and order of them- Job hunting - A different kind of happy ending
Yeah I think I'm lucky enough to be right in the range that companies are looking for (10-15 years of experience), although the market is flooded with competition due to layoffs from mergers/acquisitions or just general layoffs. An issue I think is someone coming from a major O&G company will have a more impressive resume than me- Job hunting - A different kind of happy ending
Consistently getting interviews with probably a new company popping up every 1.5 weeks, and here or there making the final formal level of interviews. Think I finished second for one role, and I'm currently in the middle of one where I think I'm on the short list of finalists. Currently have eight irons in the fire at various levels, maybe four of those feel real. Would be nice for one of these to finally hit.- Halloween/Horror Movie Thread
I'm going to be too deep in my job search/skill training this year to dive deep into horror, but I did just watch VHS Halloween. Kidprint is the best and most memorable thing I've seen from the franchise since maybe the first movie. The candy short was also a riot. Looking back, I don't think I saw the previous VHS due to to the run of movies that disappointed me.- Weapons - Josh Brolin, Julia Garner
