That whole play where Williams decided to pull Wisener while he was being tackled effectively caused 2 injuries. Not only did he expose Wisner to what looks to be a hip pointer or bone bruise of some sort, but being there got his knee bent when the rest of the Clemson defense joined the fracas.
LOL, so in our first season we eclipsed the number of times A&M has played Georgia in their entire time in the SEC. Shoot, if you include the Sugar Bowl from a few years back we've tripled their numbered. This league is such a fucking joke when it comes to what's real as opposed to what their image is.
He said he was rooting for Georgia this morning. Even said it pains him to do so as a Florida alum, but Texas can't come in here and win the conference without taking lumps.
Listening to the SEC network on XM and the purported broadcasters/journalist were (Alyssa Lang and Chris Doering) talking about how they were rooting for Georgia during the game. There's no question in my mind that those refs were right there with them.
Obviously with some sort of collective agreement or contract schools would now be allowed work in something that restricted movement or playing for another school if they didn't fulfill their contract. Have you been paying attention to what's happened to the NCAA in courts over the last 5 to 7 years? There's a reason there aren't any rules concerning the wild movement we see right now.
Gonna need an employee contract or some sort of collective agreement to accomplish that. Can't just limit people's movement and act as though they're employees without actually making them employees.
Same here. We dont have enough smart off ball movers (especially without Kent and Brock from last year) to run as open a system as we did the past couple years. We need a lot more structure and sets or else Johnson, Mark, and Kaluma will compete in a jacking competition all season long.
No serious basketball team (on any level) keeps anyone in the low block. This isnt 1994. You want the lane open for your guards with the occasional dump in when you big has a little on him.
Beard was the master of these shit schedules. He created an entire tournament out of thin are for the expressed purpose of playing a shit schedule. I don't think we've played in one of those really great preseason tournaments since the season that Andrew Jones was diagnosed with leukemia. It was the Phil Knight tourney.
It's not like Tyrese didn't occasionally have great games for us. Consistency was his biggest issue, that and the random WTF? moment at inopportune times.
SEC refs don't call pass interference for shit, but they call holding like it's going out of style. I feel like 15% of our 10+ yard run plays this year have been called back for holding. No wonder SEC defenses are dominant. You can mugg pass catchers all day and any big run play against you gets called back for holding.
