Speaking to some people that I know that have the right connections in the area this is very much the case, especially when it comes to the Heels. UVA has more than its share of elitist snobbery but the general consensus I've gotten from some of the people I know is that UNC very much would prefer to be the ones calling the shots as much as possible in whatever conference they are in. The 100 million dollar question is if their egos will be willing to put up with being paid significantly less than they potentially could be paid in the B1G/SEC in order to keep calling the shots in the ACC. They're already the clear #4 of the remaining power conferences left, and that's going to only be exacerbated when FSU and Clemson bolt even if the only landing place is the Big 12 (it won't be). Are they really willing to make less than fucking West Virginia when there's even a partial value payment from the B1G out there to be had? The amazing part is that I'm not sure the answer is "no" to that simply from an ego standpoint with these guys.
I think the death blow is whenever UNC, UVA, and whoever else the B1G wants to take leave as well. Don't think that's coming any time soon unless all the schools that are looking for greener pastures decide to piggyback on FSU's fraud claim to nuke the GoR from orbit.
Depends on who the RSN is. If it's Bally/Sinclair then no, they don't have them, at least not the last time I checked. Which is a pain in the ass when I want to watch my NHL team since the only option I have for that is using a VPN and ESPN+ to claim I'm somewhere I'm not that's not blocked by blackout restrictions.
not even likely. I live in the heart of ACC country and the general sense around here is that the conference is going to fall apart basically as soon as the GoR is up. The ACC in its current state is a lateral move at best that saves a bit of money. The ACC once Clemson and FSU go to the SEC, and UNC, UVA, and Duke (along with ND) go to the B1G is worth about as much in terms of TV rights as the current Pac 9 is. Yeah most of our old rivals outside of the pederasts and Maryland are there, but those schools can always apply to join the Big 12 when things go to shit for the ACC.
hard pass on our side. ACC is a dead man walking, only way we'd leave is for the SEC and we know THAT ain't fucking happening if it didn't happen back in 2011.
Greene could be a good one though he's undersized. Dude plays like he has the worlds biggest chip on his shoulder and is much more athletic than either of our other 2 this year.
Pretty excited for this matchup. The matchup with the Vols was completely meh to me which feels weird to say, but this is a dang good Army team and something about teams well under 500 being in bowls feels very wrong.
Some talk about Neal Brown with SC was heating up this weekend but he shot that down pretty soundly.

I'm betting the Cocks end up with Shane Beamer at this point.
Should be interesting to see how that turns out leaving in the seeds. We tend to get a ton of flavor out of Jalapenos, but when it comes to heat profile they don't add too much. But like you we de-seed first. The last one we made we ended up augmenting with an extremely small amount of red pepper extract and that seemed to do the trick to get things where we wanted with a Jalapeno Peach Cream Ale.
