  1. I've always said they're following the Clemson model where the whole team identity was their d line. It works great but to win it all they still had to have 2 generational QBs to make a difference. Weigman may be good but he's not Watson/Lawrence good
  2. Card can beat WVU just like he could/should have been Tech. But until Quinn is healthy these non top 25 games will continue to be stress inducing.
  3. In this weeks most unsurprising news the aggies have already made shirts to commemorate their program defining win against Arkansas And these guys wonder why they get made fun of so hard
  4. Also do we have any doubt that Tech would have targeted that shoulder all day? After how they acted after the win (and their entire history) I firmly believe they would have tried to eff him up even more. The risk wasn't worth it and we should have won that game regardless
  5. USC and Georgia would be my guess, he was committed to Riley at OU and had some CBs for Georgia at one point.
  6. This was a bad loss and Sark had his hand in it but Tennessee/Florida is a good example of how the game would have gone with an elite QB. Florida ran about 100 plays like Tech did and converted on 5-6 of their 4th downs but the difference was having Hendon Hooker to convert 6-9 3rd downs compared to Card only converting 3-9. As good as he played up to the 4th quarter, Quinn only needs to be enough of an upgrade, which he is, to convert 1 more 3rd down and we win that game and probably win going away. With Quinn we are 6-11 (2-3 vs Bama) so far this year on 3rd and 4th down with a few of those 3rd downs being Bijan runs because Sark know he can trust Quinn on 4th.
  7. Quinn is worth 5-10 points more a game than Card so getting him back will be huge. We will be better on 3rd downs and on game sealing drives.
  8. Lance Leipold is 6-10 at Kansas Steve Sarkisian is 7-9 at Texas
  9. Sacks scheme is predictable when he's got an average QB in the game. The defense knows he wants to run on 1st and 2nd so they send the house. Then 3rd and 8 with Card is not hard to shut down. Quinn coming back will open the playbook back up and get the whole offense involved.
  10. Georgia and the first 4 of Bamas current run.
  11. Guys they are taking a small class this year cause of how big the last class was.
  12. Bama has been killing it in ETX since Miller flipped.
  13. Cause it is. Jerry got his hands on it and will make sure it never leaves.
  14. If Arkansas can get up by a score then it will be hard for a&m to stay in it with their offensive struggles and Arkansas ability to tee off on passing downs. If the total is close to 48 then that means Arkansas wins in a route imo
  15. The biggest loss here is OUs chase for being the first college team to beat an opponent 100 times. The next candidate would be Harvard beating Brown which currently sits at 88 wins. Alabama over Mississippi St is the leader in the FBS clubhouse at 84.
  16. Texas 38- Tech 20 WRs 195 Worthy finally has his day and gets 140 by himself
  17. Same. But Sark saying Murphy wasn't healthy then the "3 QBs" never being named specifically tells me Quinn was close enough last week to be throwing daily and could be ready by Tech.
  18. Was at the aggy game last night. Seems like we're following their game plan of being obnoxiously loud on PA and letting the crowd fill in to make it seem louder. This is how they get their reputation of being louder than any other school, all songs and announcers were deafening then the crowd responded in pivotal moments. Other than that they're just as loud as any other 100k stadium but get the credit because every other down moment is filled with the loudest speaker possible.
  19. Good enough for me. Mortgage on the money line/sarcasm
  20. Hammer texas and the points.
  21. We just beat a team by 21 that played Houston just as evenly as Houston did Tech. Take out the trick plays and we go up early and roll like NC state should have.
  22. The onside kick gave them 7 points they wouldn't have got with the extra possession and we missed out on a possession and 7 points (3 at worse) from a short field. Thus 24-10 at half instead of 17-17.
  23. Was able to watch the highlights this morning. Feels like that onside was a wolid 14 point swing. 24-10 at half wouldn't have been a stretch imo.
