I got some custom made Simms waders about 15 years ago because I needed larger booties (~Sir Mixalot). Haven't had any issues with durability. They're convertible from waist waders to chest waders - I can't remember ever using them as chest waders. I would pay for the good waders again, but hope I don't need to.
Our best chances came on the first two minutes. I keep waiting for our offense to click, but they really haven't yet.
Owen played another good match.
Buka is pretty ineffective when he gets the ball on the defensive side.
Defense has only conceded 3 goals in 7 games - that's incredible.
One point is better than nothing.
Be really careful using short cuts when identifying snakes as venomous or harmless. You'll hear that round pupils and bars on the jaws denote harmless water snakes as opposed to venomous cottonmouths. Following those characteristics, this photo is easily identified:
Except that its a venomous Florida cottonmouth (same traits are true for the Northern cottonmouth found in Texas). While the harmless water snakes will not have vertical slits for pupils, light conditions effect the shape of pupils - in low light cottonmouths can have round pupils. The bars on the jaw are not like the local water snakes which are on both the upper and lower jaws, however, when people give shortcuts, they often just say bars on the jaw.
This picture does show the hooded eyes which are mentioned upthread. From the top, the eyes are not visible. Water snakes do not have hooded eyes and their eyes are more on top as shown in @BearSchlong's picture above.
The best rule is that if a short cut is not 100% in every situation, its not a good short cut.
The family was on a trip to Santa Fe over Spring Break in 2020 - when the world was just starting to spin out of control. First stop was the grocery store since we were staying at a VRBO. Passed a lady with a cart completely full of large bottles and boxes of wine. Absolutely nothing else in the cart.
Glue and adhesive traps suck as they are indiscriminate - they work for everything, including snakes, lizards, birds, pets, etc. If you use them and catch something that you'd rather not die a slow, painful death, vegetable oil can be used to remove them from the trap.
I liked the cold open, Weekend Update, and the animated guys mapping out New York. Listened to Wallen's first song and he was terrible. Fast forwarded through the second song and never watch the ending stage thing.
* May I momo dog face in the banana patch?"
I listened that album over and over as a kid. I make obscure references all the time that no one gets but me. Most often - "It's like those French have a different word for everything!"
Enjoyed the first two episodes of The Residence. Limited series whodonit with a pretty good cast. Uzo Aduba plays the part well and has some really funny lines.
