Dedicated Stranger Things Series Thread
I watched some from The Man of Recaps A few weeks ago, I was able to find recaps of the individual seasons. I looked the other day when the wife wanted to watch a recap, and could only find one recap that encompassed all of the prior seasons.

Based upon what @MissingInAction posted, I figured his grandparents would have given it to him before they died anyway.

I've been pushing for someone to kill Will since about the second season. I don't know if it will fix things, but it couldn't hurt.

I never liked Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town. You'll never convince me that Santa Claus was a soulless ginger.

Pluribus - Vince Gilligan and Rhea Seehorn
I think the hive mind family members are just trying to act as normal as possible for their unhived family members. It's patronizing, but apparently welcomed. I think its the equivalent of the hive offering to do anything for Carol to make her happy.

Half the episode was Carol trying to keep the coyotes from eating her dead girlfriend . . . so I'm sure it's ends with her realization that all the other dead humans are being processed into food. Remember when they offered to take care of the girlfriend's corpse early on? The question becomes - can the hive live off anything else or is it imperative that they eat Soylent to stay connected to the hive.

I'm An Alcoholic
This is a good time of the year to keep the thread on the first page. Someone that needs it* will see it, read it, think about it. *I read this thread and the one on Shaggy in the fall and winter of 2018. Last drink was January 12, 2019

The Turkey Thread
Yeah. I either wet brine or dry brine. When using a wet brine, I rinse, season, then cook with no dry out in between.

Does the air drying include a dry brine of kosher salt and baking powder? That's usually what I do if I'm drying overnight.

Texas BBQ
Stopped in Kyle this afternoon at Bloodworth BBQ today and was pleasantly surprised. Half pound moist brisket, pork ribs, pork belly, jalapeño and cheddar sausage, and slaw. Everything was really good and reasonably priced. Brisket wasn't heavily seasoned so it didn't have a strong bark, but still tasted good. Simple glaze on the ribs with a good bite. I tasted soy and brown sugar on the pork belly which worked well. Sausage with a coarse grind and good snap. I'd be happy to eat there again.
