Shoot, 40s? Early 30s here and I do the same. My schedule has been off lately and I hadn’t squatted in a week and a half late last week. Got up to my heavier sets and was on my second to last set and as I was going up, felt a tinge in my lower back on the right side. Racked the weight and stopped right there. Got home and felt fine but over the next few days, my lower back started flaring up. Went to squat yesterday and did everything really light. Could still slightly feel my back but it wasn’t too bad. This morning, I feel better than I did last week after squats.
When you step foot in the gym, you have to leave your ego at the door. This goes double for people older than 30.
My MIL, who is currently undergoing radiation treatment for breast cancer at MDA, was notified that she has a booster available there. She got the first two rounds of Moderna back in December/January. Thought that was interesting.
Agree with SurlyGator. By the way, 90% of weight loss is what you eat and how much you eat. You don’t have to exercise to lose weight but if you were to include even an evening walk around the block, it’ll help!
We’ll then. Within the timing of this post and midnight, the GFS got it’s act together and is now projecting this storm in the Atlantic to be a 940 mb storm and destroy North Carolina and Virginia.
GFS models don't do fuckall with that disturbance. Definitely one to watch though.

This. Dependence on OPEC for filling in the gap between our domestic demand and supply is going to put the US in a hard spot. Thinking on it more, sky is the limit for WTI.
So we need infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations but we don’t want to expand national drilling so we’re going to ask OPEC to expand production. The political volleyball that these politicians plan is absolutely ridiculous and makes me go cross eyed.
Had Covid in January, got my second shot in late April. Kinda wondering if I’ll need a 3rd round this year. Probably just look at the Pfizer studies that come out and give me the data. Not listening to the CDC any longer.
Lawn tonight. We were in reserved last night. We’re heading up to Halston parade today. We did Willis on Thursday. It was pretty legit man. Very touristy but pretty awesome.
Shoot, wish I would have seen this. For some reason, it didn’t tag me.
Wife and I strolled around Wrigley today during the game. Bummer the show was called early. What’s your plan for tomorrow?
1775 is closed today. Ventured over to Bryan to try All The King’s Men. I give it a 5/10. Brisket was on the moist side and the jalapeño sausage was OK. Didn’t really taste much smoke though on the brisket. Potato salad was ok. Pinkerton’s (which I didn’t think was great) is better.
This.
Just looking at everything that’s gone on over the last year or so regarding coaches, athletic department management, and facilities, everything has been screaming that we were anticipating this move. I’m just grabbing a tub of popcorn and enjoying the show because the aggy meltdown is too great to pass up.
I opted out as we want the entire credit when I go to file in 2022 (if we even get a credit at all). Still got payment as the deadline to not get a payment was July 2nd. Did a little bit more digging and apparently both you and your spouse have to opt out separately. It took me an hour or so to opt out as there was a queue to verify my identity via video call with an IRS contractor. Such a pain in the ass.
