  1. Just thought of a few more: Kelley's Heroes The Dirty Dozen The Killing Fields (and if he asks, let him know that, Yes, this shit really happened) Dr. Strangelove
  2. Already mentioned, but Master and Commander is an excellent movie. I'd also suggest Barbarossa with Willie Nelson and Gary Busey; High Plains Drifter and Hang 'Em High. And don't forget Enter the Dragon.
  3. All eyes on Blacksburg? Nobody watching the Coastal Carolina/Georgia St. game?
  4. JT Daniel throws an ugly long ball
  5. Does that VT receiver need glasses? Ball hit him in the face.
  6. That would actually be more entertaining:
  7. This is not compelling football. Already contemplating going to bed.
  8. That was dumb
  9. User name not checking out
  10. I was there, too...both times. 2016 was at DKR, and there were MANY more than 35K Texas fans there.
  11. If you believe only 35k were Texas fans, you weren't there
  12. 10/22s come in a variety of configurations, including with wooden stocks, and it's such a popular weapon, the aftermarket is huge so you can customize it to your liking. Another option to consider; I don't know what gun shows in Texas are like, but here in Virginia there are a large number of sellers offering classics. Very easy to pick up a nice Winchester model 62 slide action for about $700-800. I have one that I inherited from my dad, and they are great little shooters. And almost forgot, take a look at Henry Repeating Arms. They offer a huge selection of American made, lever action .22 LRs, and even a slide action. They make a really quality product.
  13. I second this motion. Seriously, anyone responsible for the creation and approval of this ad should be unemployed as of today.
  14. Notre Dame in 2016 had something like 102,000 and it was very loud.
  15. This was the exact moment where I had had all I could take. Before, Galindo had never made caused much more than an eye roll with me, but he sounded like he about to jizz his pants after that TD, I could no longer take it. Muted the TV, and pulled up Craig Way on the Longhorn Radio Network website...much more enjoyable experience.
  16. Yeah, if it wasn't for all those TDs and FGs we scored in the second half, this game would have been much closer. I understand the first half was definitely frustrating, but UTSA threw everything they had at us and played their best half of football, and Texas was pretty much sleepwalking, but the game was still tied at half. We kicked the shit out of them in the second half. Take the win.

Meanwhile, on Fox's Big Noon Kickoff in Lincoln, NE, between the Husker and Sooner fans, there are just as many chuckleheads doing the Horns down and waving "Texas Sucks"signs as there are supporting Nebraska or Oklahoma. Rent free.
  18. 1st and 20, run the ball, make first down.
  19. This Wyoming RB looks pretty good.
  20. Wyoming drives down the field and answers with a TD of their own. 17-14 Wyoming with just over 6 minutes in the 4th.
  21. Air Force with the 41 yard TD pass to take the 14-10 lead with 9:58 in the 4th.
  22. Hmmm...an hour and a half into the game, and AF/Wyoming is already 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter.
