It totally slipped my attention. I'm looking forward to seeing it now.
I was raised in Washington Heights so I'm looking forward to seeing my old hood on screen.
Raya was okay. The animation and acting were fine. The story and pacing were so-so. It was way too predictable. You could see the story beats coming a mile away.
Infinite
Ridiculous plot, big budget, marginal acting, and it seems like they forgot to include entire scenes. It's big dumb action movie but I was entertained.
If you can enjoy movies like Limitless, Now You See Me, and Jumper then you can enjoy this one.
The first guy's story is pretty crazy. He shot his friend dead.
Apparently Dylan and his now dead friend got shit-faced and got in a car accident. Dylan goes home, gets in a domestic with his wife/gf who then takes their kid and leaves.
Then he claims his drinking body broke into his house and he shot his friend dead.
Absolutely none of this makes sense, except for the part where they got shit-face and wrecked a car
I know it's way too early to talk Fury - Wilder but I'm excited to see it. It feels like people are forgetting how dangerous Wilder can be.
I'm pulling for Fury because I always favor skill over brawlers but Wilder absolutely has the power to end the fight.
I'm absolutely shocked that this movie was really fucking good. The recent Disney live action movies have been bad.
I've never seen 101 Dalmatians so I can't comment on her character arc.
Who's watching the Mayweather Logan Paul weigh-in? lol
I predict Paul will not land a single significant strike. Mayweather may take his head off, but he'll toy with Paul for a few rounds.
Dude is a good filmmaker who can make some awful awful films when he gets too full of himself. But when he reigns himself in, he is solid and even sometimes compelling. He seems to be on the redemption path.
I never understood why The Village gets such a bad rap. The Happening is the most unintentionally funny movie I've ever seen. The Lady in the Water and Avatar are unequivocally terrible.
"Swing away Merrill" is up there with "do you like apples" on the Mt Rushmore of dumb movie lines.
Taika you naughty little scamp.
Taika Waititi Reportedly Reprimanded By Disney For Racy Photos With Tessa Thompson
Who cares what three adults do. The only slight problem is that he and Thompson are coworkers but really who cares.
Let's talk about the Woodley Jake Paul fight here instead of the MMA thread, since it's boxing.
Everybody in the other thread seems to think Woodley will win easily. I don't see it. At this point, Jake Paul is the more disciplined and technical striker. He's also taller and heavier than Woodley, not to mention much younger.
Now Woodley does have that right hand and if he connects on the button then it's lights out for Jake Paul. Otherwise Paul can outbox him.
Here's a breakdown from YouTuber who IMO has pretty good analyses.
