I agree with you in that they have some really good songs, but I saw them live in 2016 and they just sounded bad. Out of sync and completely lacking any groove. It was at a music festival and they were the closing act. Their music just felt dead and we all left in the middle of their set.
If I had to put my finger on it, I would say it was Chad Smith's playing that was the problem. Maybe they just had a bad night.
Same with my wife. She was like "you told me this was gonna be ultra-violent" when the title came up.
Five minutes later, and she's like "I think I'm gonna throw up".
I think this movie shows that Leto would have been an awesome Joker, if WB hadn't decided to go the whole comedy-comedy MCU funny re-edit route they did with the Whedon cut and Suicide Squad.
Makes me wonder what the original dark Suicide Squad edit would have been like.
Help me analyze this crash. The rider says that his left boot touched, and and when he readjusted his foot it threw the bike off balance.
But to my eyes it looks like the action of pulling his left foot up also caused him to pull his left elbow in, causing him to steer into the turn.
What do you think?
I never would have guessed that a Snyder movie would have much better character development than the Whedon version of the same movie.
And I never would have guessed that at this point in time, Snyder's career would be on the rise (rumor has it he's being pursued for a Star Wars movie) and Whedon's career would be in the shitter. If only Whedon wasn't such a massive asshole.
Yeah I wasn't really paying attention to the premise. My post was more like "I'll watch anything they make" because of those movies but you're right, they both have incredible catalogs.
Slightly disappointed with the finale but a fantastic series nevertheless. I'm glad they made Wanda into the totally badass character like she should be.
They totally need to do a Darcy and Woo series.
