I'm not sure, but I've seen multiple sightings of chows out in the wild in three areas of the state. In my friend's case, he had at least two, separate encounters with them. As I mentioned in my previous post, he lived not too far from a lake. People seem to like dumping unwanted dogs near a lake. Guess they don't want them to go thirsty. The chow also went after a calf if I recall correctly.
Chows abandoned in the country are some dangerous mofo's. Had a buddy who used to live in the country a few mile from a lake see his share of abandoned chows. He kinda adopted a stray one until one day he saw the chow give "the look" to one of his kids.
He took the dog for a final walk shortly thereafter.
Our favorite realtor Jenna Ryan got bumped from GoFundMe. I think she got bumped because one of the reasons she was panhandling was for "loss of income". I could be wrong though. Then she went to some faith-based app. She didn't need the money though, she just want to give some folks the opportunity to be "blessed".
csb/ About 2003, I had a Monday morning flight from DFW to LAX on an AA 777, a big ass plane. I'm waiting to board the plane in about 20 minutes when I see a couple with 3 young kids walk by the gate. They were making a little commotion I remember thinking "Glad they aren't going to be on my flight" as I thought they were going to another gate. A few minutes later, boarding starts and I see the family reappear getting ready to board my flight. I think "This is a big ass plane, what are the odds?". They pre-board and then I later board. I was crestfallen when I got to my row and saw the family directly behind me. Little fucker kicked my seat and banged on the seat tray the whole flight.
I was bitter.
