Fuck Cancer
I think my SIL is entering her final battle setting up her loss to the cancer war. Palliative care is being arranged after her long running battle with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her lungs and lymph nodes. It now appears to have started growing in her hip bone. Chemo no longer seems to be slowing the cancer’s advance. Her mobility is declining and she is succumbing to the immense and constant pain. She is starting to take some serious pain meds that cause her to sleep most of the day. This is going to crush my wife. Her sister is her only sibling. Fuck.

^^its a first grind mulch. Could have contaminants in it. But then any bagged mulch may have contaminants. It most certainly is ridiculously high in carbon to nitrogen ratio. It is good for mulching pathways or something like cardboard sheet mulching. Likely not very good for direct planting or anything near your garden. It will probably rob nitrogen from your existing soil. At $2/bag it has a place in my opinion. Just be aware of its limitations. This likely holds true for any bagged mulch from a big box store. Now buying from whittlesey, maybe a different story.

Are you thinning your peach trees? I have spent the last week stripping like 75% of the fruit buds based on my internet research. Internet says peaches need to be like minimum of 6-8 inches apart to promote larger fruit growth.
