  1. Well my sister doesn’t have a history of abuse, including towards minors, so I’d be more inclined to believe every word she said. Trew’s past plus her admitting that she started the altercation means that her version of the events has to be taken with a grain of salt. That doesn’t mean that Beard is innocent, he still likely did something that most of us would consider abhorrent. It does mean, however, that I am more willing to let the legal process and UT investigation runs its course before I start demanding his immediate firing and calling his a piece of shit.
  2. Requesting medical attention is interesting, means he had some kind of injury. Also interesting that it doesn’t mention he received that medical attention, wonder if the cops didn’t honor the request.
  3. Getting a dog of a certain breed expecting it to be exactly like a previous dog is one of the biggest mistakes people make.
  4. Anyone here gone to the Boston Marathon? I’m curious about logistics on race day. How important is having a hotel with a race shuttle? Would it be easy to drop my wife off relatively close to the starting line instead? How realistic is it to try to see her 2 or 3 times on the course?
  5. I’m really late on this as I don’t really follow volleyball except very casually but this was absolutely true. My son is one of the group pictures here. Alabama won that match and the Alabama team went and celebrated with them.
  6. If Texas fires him and charges are dropped he will immediately get another P5 job.
  7. How many aggy players have entered the portal at this time?
  8. Him not using it correctly doesn’t matter, he still said it.
  9. I’m fine with this assuming that the government has some plan in place to keep about in check. I would be pissed if we had passed on Whelan for Grindr but it sounds like that is not the case.
  10. Players have already announced where they are going to transfer to.
  11. I’m not saying that I hate you for giving me this image but if you fall ass first onto a rusty sword I will no longer shed a tear.
  12. He could get picked up as a UDFA and get hurt the first week of training and never play again. If that happens he makes nothing in the NFL. If he signs an NIL deal to come back to Texas and the. Gets hurt he still pockets the NIL money.
  13. A player with his injury history should go where the guaranteed money is. I’m not a big NFL guy so don’t know much about the draft contracts but aren’t only the top 3 rounds guaranteed money? If he is a very late round pick or projected to go undrafted then he should come back to Texas and make the guaranteed NIL money.
  14. Could you make it a Twitter/Instagram/online article only thread with Texas only content? That would certainly help those of us who can’t wade through 5 pages a day for 2 tweets that’s actually has to do with legitimate Texas news.
  15. Having Cook and Baxter as EEs certainly helps fill some offensive holes. Getting Hill on board and to EE would be massive.
  16. The solution to stopping mass shootings is to legalize prostitution. The more people are fucking the less likely they are to shoot people. Plus think of all the tax revenue that could be generated!
  17. Most people flush the toilet paper after it gets shitty
  18. Cunningham just had the best half game of his life.
  19. I’m looking for a really good layout for a baseball/softball complex if anyone knows of one that they like. Looking at 10 fields likely, 4 baseball 4 softball and 2 shared t-ball/coach pitch fields. Also if you have time please check out my other thread as any help or advice would be much appreciated.
  20. Yes we have and I plan to apply for a grant through the Rangers, MLB and MLB Player’s Association.
  21. I run my city’s little league baseball organization. Our fields are decades old and falling apart and so we started a fundraising campaign to completely renovate them. We’re landlocked where we are at and so while renovating them would be awesome it wouldn’t solve all of our issues. After a couple of meetings in the last week the city has decided to gift me the land needed to build a completely new complex for both us and softball. They have requested that I raise part of the funds needed privately and then they will get the rest through grants/city money/bonds. I am starting from scratch on this with zero experience. I’m looking at 10 fields, 4 for each plus 2 shared t-ball/coach pitch fields. Anyone have any good layouts or designs on a complex like this? Know any companies in DFW that specialize in building these type complexes? Have any good massive fundraising ideas? (Unfortunately the hot moms of the legend refuse to do OF to help out, I’ve asked)
  22. On Thursday the longest losing streak in the state ended. Harrold beat Chillicothe 44-26. It was Harrold’s first win since 2014. During that time they were unable to field a team for 3 seasons because of lack of players.
