  1. Maybe if we land the Rutgers corner he can help us work on Ian Strong (bigger bodies Rutgers WR in the portal). Good player. Not great and far from a super star but would probably be a similar replacement to Livingstone without costing as much that traitor dickbag was asking for. I'd be quite happily gruntled if we were to pull Tre Richardson and then someone like Strong to fill the depth needed outside.
  2. Comparing Raleek Brown to Isaac Brown is like saying Blue was a solid replacement for Jonathon Brooks. I'm hardly broken up about whiffing on Isaac but come on. It is asinine to act like they are close to the same caliber of player. Also are you of the impression we got Raleek Brown to commit? The 'fantastic' news about Raleek Brown is that he won't even come visit Austin until after our RB coach goes to his home tomorrow to woo him. He would be a solid pickup but the update wasn't even that confidence inspiring.
  3. Tre Richardson is a solid fit with what we originally expected the staff to prioritize at WR (speedy guy with some playmaking ability in space) but with Livingstone's departure we probably need to get at least one bigger bodied WR as well.
  4. Omarion Miller would have been an interesting name to watch but it looks like he is locking in with ASU. Nick Marsh would have been fantastic for what we really need but ofc he signed with Indiana yesterday. Scudero has major drop issues but is worth it; ofc he is locked in with Colorado. I think KSU and Boston College both had good WRs enter but those guys might be locked up as well. Going to be interesting to see where we pivot. edit: woops mentioned BC guy twice.
  5. We definitely would still need two guards (or a guard and center) even after adding the Michigan duo. What we need depends on how we plan to use Guarnera. We have some existing depth at tackle but I'm not sure there is a single player on campus or coming in this 2026 class I'd ever want to see at guard next season even as a backup.
  6. I don't really give much of a shit about Coleman's decision either way so long as he makes it quickly. There are still some excellent options out there at WR but they are going to come off the board very quickly. A few of the guys I'd have liked us to heavily pursue already have (Marsh was likely always landing with Indiana but he would have thrived here).
  7. It just worked for Louisville /s
  8. I've lost track at this point; which QB is expected to transfer to LSU now? Leavitt?
  9. Does Warby Parker make monocles?
  10. They are already feasting in the portal. Hoover and Nick Marsh today, a handful of depth takes on defense to shore up their holes and they are projected to land some difference makers on defense as well. Mark Cuban is happily dumping tens of millions a year into their NIL now, doing his best Cody Campbell cosplay, and they have two other absurdly rich (not sure if technically also billionaires or not) families all in on keeping them relevant. Indiana likely will be players even at the top of the portal market for the foreseeable future.
  11. Didn't he mostly suck this year? Probably is losing his job to a younger player or portal target. He just got eaten alive by the Miami DL.
  12. Clemson Safety Khalil Barnes just locked in with Georgia (didn't seem like we ever had a shot there but he would have been a nice fit; hopefully we get the FSU S). Hawkins also just locked in with Okie St as expected.
  13. Frustratingly stupid to focus on measurables for a guard anyway. All that really matters is strength. I'll happily take some feisty 6'1 guard who can actually hold back a DT than a flat footed pussy who is 6'6 330. I can understand being a size queen especially with wingspan at tackle but for guard it really just Strength > footwork/technique > size they should be looking at and I'm pretty sure the only fucking thing Flood even cares about is the last one.
  14. Michigan apparently expressing some cautious optimism that they can bring back Guarnera. They have mostly written off Sprague since if he doesn't land at Texas he is basically a lock to Mizzou over them as fall back.
  15. Williams would finally get us out of the weeds with IDL. Been such an ongoing struggle at that spot for years now. Williams and Sharma continuing to develop for another season behind January + Portal NT (Arkansas kid hopefully). Both would have two years eligibility left beyond 2026. Get back in the habit of making sure to add one young NT either through recruiting or portal each cycle and that room might finally be in good shape. DT and Edge are already 'fixed'. Would be nice having the defensive front not be a constant headache to fill out.
  16. I swear to god if that fucking retard Flood moves forward with Roberston at center and thinks we will be 'fine' just adding a single guard and RT we didn't even need, banking on Baker suddenly getting twice as strong so he can hack it at RG, I'm going to embrace my IRA ancestry and firebomb his fucking car send a very strongly worded email. Ain't no way he used moon shot to describe a DT who redshirt last year and has shown nothing in college so far. I mean it is Nahlin so who knows but I doubt it.
  17. I heard someone describe him as Robertson insurance. Can't remember who it was. Basically a guy they like as a backup incase Robertson decides to portal if/when we upgrade at center. I'm sure he would be a take even if Robertson stays assuming he is willing to come here as potentially third string.
  18. The Michigan guard is more naturally a center. He was playing guard out of need due to injury but was recruited by Michigan to play center. I believe that is also his preferred position. My strong hope is that he will replace Robertson and we are still in the market for a third OL take for the other guard spot.
  19. Sean Miller was a pathetically lazy hire. The first step will be firing every single retarded piece of shit who played a role in talent identification and portal acquisition. Purge them all. They have done a fucking awful job construction the roster two years in a row.
  20. Woodyard is a great player and we should all have been very happy had we landed him but you are absolutely right. Rashem Briles (Pitt) and Cade Ulave (the Cal LB who just entered) are both better. Ulave has been a menace for three years now.
  21. Earlier today IT posted this: My guess would be the Pitt LB? The only clear position of need for us on defense is ILB and the portal defender who is THAT much of a game changer is Rasheem Biles. Nothing else comes to mind anyway. There is no Caleb Downs tier safety floating around.
  22. You are comparing two completely different numbers. Baker is rated an 87/100 for NFL potential. That has almost nothing to do with how he actually played this year. I am not sure what Baker's final PFF grade for this season was but he never went above like 72 in any of our games so there ain't no fucking way he sniffed an 80 let alone 87 overall. Baker was mostly solid for us but he had some really shit games too (graded below 50 against Arkansas). Baker's grades for the last four games as an example~ 48.7 against Arkansas, 64 vs Georgia, 68.6 against Texas A&M and finally 71.1 against Michigan. Very solid and definitely not someone we should look to replace but fairly comparable to the Michigan tackle Sprague. I do not disagree with your overall point that Baker would never agree to move to guard.
  23. If Luke Sandy is coming in as Robertson insurance I really like the move. Still a risk that Robertson might decide to leave if we land a higher end portal C. They think he is going to stay but who the fuck knows. Even if we do retain Robertson it is still a good idea to have a better third string since as we saw this year your starting C may end up having to play guard if guys get hurt. I'm honestly kind of shocked Cruz hasn't hit the portal yet now that it seems certain Flood will be back for 2026.
