Maalik Murphy unfucked Duke, works his next miracle at Oregon State
There are 19 teams with 0 or 1 loss & we're one of them. We control our own destiny in the Big 12, we (likely) control our own destiny in the CFP, we have a top 15 ranked offense & top 10 ranked defense, & have a very winnable game this week. As long as Sark keeps his head out of his ass when we get into the red zone (3 TDs & 1 FG vs. UH in 4 trips) & MM avoids big mistakes we'll be fine.

Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
If good Spencer Rattler shows up vs a&m then 11 points is way too much & SCAR may win outright. Of course, if normal Spencer Rattler shows up then 11 isn't near enough & a&m may go crazy & hang 30 on them.

a&m beating a nationally ranked Tennessee in Knoxville during the CBS game of the week is anything but a "no lose" for us. It may not cause the recruiting avalanche that beating Bama would have, but it would certainly help them. I hope they get blown out in the first half & Tennessee runs up the score in the second half with back ups & walk ons. Questions about Jimbo's future while media heads are constantly bringing up how stupid his contract is during their bye week would just be so great.- 3rd and 9
He was aggressive all fucking day until that moment & he puckers. He had a chance to end the game with the ball in his hands & his decision is to make an OU team, whose normal offense is run at 1000mph, burn a TO that they don't really need anyways. Didn't trust his QB who had been perfect since the 2nd quarter, didn't trust his WRs who had made a lot of plays, didn't trust his TEs who had made several big catches. Maybe he was thinking he could get it to 4th & 2 or so and bring in Red but we were stopped at 4th & 4. Doesn't matter, go for it there. It was a bitch decision in the biggest possible moment. The 1st & goal from the 1 featured a couple of bad play calls, but at least he was aggressive. Being a pussy isn't how you beat a decent OU team.- Week 6 2023 score prediction: Red River Shootout
45-23 UT pulls away late like they have all season. 185 rushing yards as OU stacks the box to make Quinn beat them, & he does.- Texas opens as a 5 point favorite v Oklahoma
UT by 20+ if Sanders is available at >90%. If he's limited or doesn't play then we may only beat them by 10ish. We have better, more proven talent at every position & it's not that close on both sides of the LOS, WR, CB, or TE (if Sanders is playing). Can OU beat us? Sure, it's the RRS for fucks sake, but Sark has had UT more than ready for this game both years he's been here & Caleb Williams/LR aren't walking out the tunnel at half time this year. 45-23 UT continues pulling away from teams in the second half.- Texas opens as a 5 point favorite v Oklahoma

Jimbo's a&m has won exactly 3 true road games (not counting 2020) @SCAR '18, @Ole Miss '19, & @Mizzou '21. The only neutral site game that you may be able to add would be vs. CO in '21 in a game that was played in Denver. So, assuming they don't win @Tenn. & Bama beats them like they should if Milroe is playing, that puts them at 3-3 with the Arky game being the difference between 3-4 or 4-3. What's going to be really interesting to watch is what happens if/when they go into their bye week on a 2 or maybe 3 game losing streak. How many of the NFL draft prospects (I'm just assuming they have 2-3) are coming back after the bye if they have to win out just to go to a bowl game? How many people are going to sit out to avoid injuries & transfer after the season? How many are going to be smoking pot in the locker room or playing tokyo drift in parking garages? If they can manage to win 2 of the next 3 then maybe they can keep it together but that seems really unlikely right now & 0-3 seems as likely as 1-2. To me the Arky game is the difference between 4-8/5-7 or 7-5 because of how much quit that team is going to have if they lose it & the odds that they lose one they shouldn't as guys quit on the season.- Texas Recruiting Notes 2024: Bags Don't Beat Bankrolls
- Week 5, 2023 prediction thread: Kansas @ Texas
UT: 56 KU: 20 yards given up: 444 Watts gets beat a time or 2 & the backups give up some yards & points but we make up for 2021 in a big way.- Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
Man, the 8-1 conference record in 2020 & the non P5 schools are doing a LOT of heavy lifting in that graphic. It would be much better depicted as a wreck before 2020, then have the 2020 car with a mask over it to cover up all of the flaws, then 2021-present should just be a raging dumpster fire.- Tell me about Texas Tech
- Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
It'd be nice if PFF tracked that stat. It can be a little tricky to determine what qualifies as a drop but at least there'd be an idea. I remember during the first quarter (at least I think it was the first quarter) a graphic came up that said our WRs had 8 dropped passes through 2 games. That doesn't seem optimal & there were at least 4 straight drops vs. Wyoming and maybe another 1 or 2 depending on how hard you're going to be on the WRs. They make some excellent catches & drop some easier ones. Either way, it's not all on Quinn, he needs to be better as does the OL & WRs/RBs/TEs- Texas Recruiting Notes 2025: Duck Around and Find Out
How is UNLV not in his top 8?- Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
Auburn sucks, Arky is meh, Tennessee has taken a very large step back, MSU is meh, Bama is good with Milroe but really really bad if they try to force-play one of the other QBs. This is the year that a&m SHOULD contend for the SEC West. They get a weak Bama @ home & the rest of their SEC schedule is meh other than maybe OM (if they're not fools gold) & LSU. If there were a year for a&m to go into the final weekend with a trip to the SEC championship on the line it should be this year & there's not a single person with a brain that's anticipating it much less betting on it. Why? Because they suck. Their HC sucks. Their DC sucks. Their OC sucks. Their locker room culture sucks. Their depth sucks. Their vaunted "Spirit of Aggie-land" home field advantage sucks. Their only guaranteed win the rest of the year is ACU & hopefully that plays out exactly how UMASS did last year with no one in the stands because of how bad they've been all year. Every other game is going to either be aggy as the decided underdog or a coinflip of "who's going to suck less today". They'll probably pull a few of those out (Auburn, maybe USCe, & Arky) but 8 wins is a streeeeetch right now. I could talk myself into 7 if they stay relatively healthy but 6-6 or 5-7 are not longshots by any means & any sort of injury at QB, OL, S, LB, or Stewart could derail their mediocre season in a snap.- This is a man. He's over 40. He's a man.
KSU is beatable at home as we saw vs. Mizzou but I don't think y'all will. ISU, WVU, UH are varying levels of ass right there with ya so it'll depend on who is less ass on that given day.- Week 4 prediction 2023: Texas at Baylor
38-12 UT 320 yards. Fuck that toilet bowl stadium- This is a man. He's over 40. He's a man.
Maybe he's going to keep it all vanilla until Bedlam and then unleash it all vs. the Sooners in an attempt to hold scoreboard for the foreseeable future. Sacrifice essentially the entire season for one game to try & stick it to big brother. Would a 4-8 or 5-7 season with that win to top it off be worth it to fans?- Texas Recruiting Notes 2024: Bags Don't Beat Bankrolls

With Casey fucking Thompson, Cade Brewer, Marcus Washington, Joshua Moore, & a shit OL. That was Worthy's coming out party though.- Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
Holy shit. It's like Bobby Boucher on 10x speed- Week 3 2023: Wyoming @ Texas
If good OL & Ewers show up again then this thing is going to get out of hand early. If one of them struggles it'll look a lot like the Rice game & probably end up with roughly the same score barring ST or D scores. I hope Sark continues to let Ewers build confidence, especially on shot plays, & this thing is put to bed before half. - WVU @ U of H; 6 pm FS1
